Saw this on the club forum and thought that I would post this here:

http://www.kildarecountyfc.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=1166&get=last#8495

I am not a member myself. I have been living away from Kildare for most of the clubs existence until recently (college, work). The idea of a trust is interesting though particularly when you look at the sucessful role they have played in the developement of eircom league clubs, sligo, galway shamrock rovers to name a few.

Was thinking of joining the supporters club anyway. Anyone a member? Anyone going?

No the only query I would have is that is, is it okay for people who are not previously members to turn up on the night and join. but the on the club site post says all supportrs welcome, like i'm not gonna be walked to the guillotine for past posts or anything..........rrrrrrright?:o

Yeh. You know how tight the budget is on everything around Station Road. All they could afford was a pair of dodgy old numchucks off eBay. We also bought Paul Donnelly on Ebay I hear.... :)

If you want to join the sc for the new year we would be delighted to meet with you on the night. Please bring anybody who is interested as this years AGM will be covering a number of important football club related issues. Specially the supporters trust option.
