Highly respected eircom National League President, Michael Hyland, will stand down from his post as the supremo of the country's top domestic competition early next year after an incredible near 50 year voluntary service to the game he has always loved.
lol who writes the drivel on the FAI website. About bloody time Hyland - Cheerio!
Means I only get to keep my signiture till Feb!

Me too, so who's next on the hitlist, as we all know that it was the pressure caused by signatures on this site that lead to the move.... :cool:

Could be part of the Genesis fallout. But more importantly, who'll replace him?
At last. IMO, this guy has got away with murder. How he has survived so long in th job while displaying outrageous incompetence and indifference is beyond me. Good riddance.

Most good polls have eight or less options. If we were to list his more obvious mistakes, we could probably come up with a few dozen without stretching memories.

i was impressed by him. Maybe the league needs an impartial ousider.
