    Talking Hyland Steps Down - about bloody time!


    Highly respected eircom National League President, Michael Hyland, will stand down from his post as the supremo of the country's top domestic competition early next year after an incredible near 50 year voluntary service to the game he has always loved.

    lol who writes the drivel on the FAI website. About bloody time Hyland - Cheerio!

    At last. IMO, this guy has got away with murder. How he has survived so long in th job while displaying outrageous incompetence and indifference is beyond me. Good riddance.

    suggestion for a poll perhaps?

    so what about his legendary gaffes...

    Like presenting the First Division trophy to the wrong team LOL

    can we come up with a few good ones for a poll??

    Most good polls have eight or less options. If we were to list his more obvious mistakes, we could probably come up with a few dozen without stretching memories.
