'Don't believe everything you see in a documentary, statistics can be used to prove/disprove anything........watch our documentary and get the truth, we use statistics to prove that global warming is a natural occurance'
40% of all people know that :p
I read something recently which I think suggested that the earth goes through periods of warming & then cooling. It also suggested that because records only started in relatively recent times its not correct to assume earth with continue to warm at the current rate. Will try dig up a link...

This would be fine if there was no experimental data showing that C02 emissions have a detrimental effect on 03.
Any claims that this is the result of natural cycles is the result of "studies" funded by petrolium companies and their cohorts.
In fact we can tell what the climate was like millions of years ago. The age of some of the ice in the arctic circle and other geological and botanical data allows us to get snapshots of global climate long before official records started recording them.
I don't understand how they can argue against the photographic eveidence of the accelerated polar ice cap melting either?
If anyone saw the author of Global Warming in a PC Climate (think that was the name of the book) on the Daily Show you probably saw the mentality of these people

Anybody else see "The great Global warming swindle" last night.I have only watched half of it so far as I videoed it.Their main point so far is that warmer temperatures create more C02 not the other way round. They are all quite bolshie and dismissive about human created global warming.Said it was warmer in Britain in the 15th century than it is now(apparantly there were vineyards in London) and there was a cooling from the the 1940s to 1970 the time of an increase in human created C02.Needs somebody from the other side to counter these arguments but want to watch the rest of it before I come to any conclusions.

The whole "mosquitoes live in colder climates" thing sounded utterly bizarre to me. I switched off.
