Why have Aertel put just put up selected friendly results/scorers and ignored others..? Maybe I'm paranoid but we have had three friendlies so far and none of them got a mention on Aertel. Dundalk fans want justice!

Has your PRO (or Communications Officer in today's lingo) contacted RTE? They arer usually quite good about putting up news, pre-seasons fixtures etc.

They're not supposed to take fixtures news from anyone but the League though.

Well they took them from me yesterday hence our 2 friendlies up! Also they updated quickly from what I can see!
Another good warm up exercise for the Mons today.

They are showing that the pre-season training is going well, its easy to get carried away but these are merely pre-season friendlies being used as training exercises. That said, it is heartening to see that the new signings seem to have settled in well and are doing their jobs.
There is a cohesion in the team that has been missing for some time and that is the strenght they have at the mo. They are a team.

Fairly impressed with Monaghan had a number of good players on display liked the look of D'arcy and Heffernan in particular.

Wayside Celtic 0-0 UCD.
Decent enough game, but our usual failings in front of goal let us down again. We were by far the better side, but Conor Sammon missed at least three one on ones. Still, useful enough exercise.

Harps 3-2 Castlebar
Breen 2, parkhouse.
Would have loved to have kept Breen, the lad was very upset to not stay on but in fairness he was only on loan. Can't see there being many better than him in the 1st division this season

Breen is quality but in fairness Gethins is better and by the looks of things it was a 2nd string team out but i suppose you cant tell in pre-season. would love to see chrissy play on the right wing. he would destroy most left backs in the 1st div with his pace.

Derry not too impressive tbh. strong at the back but nothin special otherwise. Bermingham looked decent up front.
as for Harps we looking the part but couldn take any of the chances, Parkhouse missed a real sitter, but the team looked ok. Shields looks the part in mid.

Monaghan United have just announced that they will be playing Premier Division team Longford Town at Flancare Park on Saturday 24th Feb. Time to be confirmed.
Mons will be hoping to make it a triple Premier bashing having recently beaten Galway and Sligo in pre-season friendlies.

must have been reserves, Sunderland just played yesterday.
It was the reserves but they still had a strong team out according to the Sunderland official site. Stephen Wright, Kenny Cunningham, Stanislav Varga, Clive Clark, Tommy Miller, Ross Wallace, Arnau and Anthony Stokes were all due to play.
