I wouldn't get too happy. Your front line could be Ollie and Tom the Gom by the time the Setanta rolls around.

I'll comment on that when the comp is about to KO ;)

The programme about the draw showed highlights from last year and interviews with players and officials of most of the participating clubs.
It was a nice distraction from the tedium of the CLOSE SEASON :D

I have to say I feel very sorry for Glens. They seem to be the most improved team in the competition since last season and end up with the hardest possible group. They could've been a good outside bet given an easier draw but now they're favourites to finish bottom in the group again.

Drogheda are the favourites in my eyes. They have strengthened their squad already and could make more new arrivals.

Your jokin. Cork will romp that group. The meltdown at Shels has begun and by the time Cork play them they will nothing more than a gather up team. The vultures are hovering over Tolka as we speak...

Going by what some have said (including Cork supporters) the club are in disarray and indeed only qualified for the Setanta due to Derry's prowess in cup competitions. Haven't they already lost a number of players?

Yas but they are under new ownership and are remaining full-time. They have money to buy players
