Next game should be made up of all EL players. They may be well bet but **** it, they'd play with more pride than these wasters!

Fair play to Cyprus - Marvellous team display of passion, commitment and some nice finishing. Well done boys.

Im going to get drunk - then im going to practice my booing for wednesday.

"Fail to prepare" and all that.

Im sure STan and the boys will bring back the craic tonight anyway

If we're lucky we might finish above San Marino on goal difference.

If the eircom league teams keep doing as well in Europe as this year, they will be higher ranked than the national team very soon.

It's an embarressment. I didn't think they could play any worse than the pub team game with cyprus last time.. just shows how wrong you can be sometimes

I could understand losing by so much to the Dutch (didn't see the game, mind), always good, well organised, can pull off spectacular results and on their day, they can beat anyone by a good score, whether the opposition is playing well or not.

Germany, aside the manner of play, are a top team, held the best team at the world cup to beat them on penalties, nearly took out the eventual winners, a bad German team is quite capable of winning two or three nil against a good Ireland team.

But this beggars belief.

Mike Kerley for Ireland on this basis.

Pity the game isn't on RTE. I'd love to hear Dunphy's post match analysis:D

used always have time for the likes of o brien and kilbane cos they were 'triers' but this ridiculous, o shea us muck, o brien is terrible, kilbane has to go there is a few other options for midfield at least. robbie keane is doin anything either, clint tries but is to busy looking for free kicks, finnan doesnt produce for ireland either.
