In the blue issue of 451, a guy called Ian wrote about the League title playoff in 92-93. In the article, he says he remembers City playing the home game against Bohs out the Cross.
My clear memory of this match is that it took place out in Bishopstown on a Saturday with the kick-off about 4 or 5, with City winning 1 nil.
Who is right?
Am I slipping into senility?
It's no big deal, just that I want to know if my memory has been drowned by the years of Heineken..... ;)

it was at the 'Cross. Morley scored. i remember it well! it was supposed to be a neutral venue as City were playing at the Bishopstown swimming pool at the time, and as it was a play off all neutral venues were set for the game. i guess we have pulled a few strokes in our time too!:D

The 'Cross is as Neutral a venue as City could have got;)

There was a first playoff group with home & away against each side -> 4 games each. All 3 teams still finished on same pints & not allowed to separate by goal difference..

The had the 2nd playoff group with just one game against each team to be played at neutral venues. Think ours was the first one & we beat Bohs 2-0 at the "neutral" cross. I'm sure ye know the rest...
