Not sure if its good news or bad for Avondale, as they have been excellent away, but the final of this years Intermediate Cup will be held in Cork. Turners Cross on Sunday May 13th.
So theres no excuse for any of ye not coming out to shout for the Dale against the jackeen enemy.

Bumping this baby to remind ye all of the FAI Intermediate Cup Final in Turners Cross next Sunday at 3pm.
Avondale Utd v Bangor Celtic

I do believe that kids U14 are free in with a paying adult.

I'll be there. Can't wait for it. Could be a very decent game.

Should be a good game. Bangor are a very good footballing side. they like to get the ball down and have tricky wingers.the back 4 especially like to try get it down and play from there. watch out for the two brothers up front (if they play),both tall but are great with the ball at their feet.
Pity its in cork, (not the real capital as some mite suggest :p ) as I wouldve liked to go see it. think Bangor are taking the Craggy Island Express and flying down sunday morning.
Yous expecting a big crowd down there?

Yous expecting a big crowd down there?Avondale played far better away from home this year so they'd nearly prefer an away match too.
Bangor taking a chance there, Cork airport is world renowned for fog and the weather forecast ain't looking too good for the weekend.
Not too sure what kind of a crowd will show, twould hardly exceed 1000 I guess even if the fans know in advance that Cliffy will be there. ;)

If it's wet I'll not bother getting out of bed for it to be honest..ha ha.

Seriously though, I'm looking forward to it, should be fun.

I didn't make it today, well done to Avondale on retaining the title. Sounds like they left it late, John Cotter the hero this time. Bangor gave it everything with Dave the save getting man of the match. Good work.

Happy days Razor and co, hope the celebrations go long into the night and tomorrow.

I didn't make it today:D It was an awful day, rained from start to finish.
Dale snuck it late, Bangor played very well and didn't deserve to lose to be honest.
The fact Dave the Save got MOTM probably says it all.
Delighted for everyone, first Cork club to win back to back Intermediate Cups, I left them off to the Silverkey, too old for all that malarkey.

Two in a Row, fair play!! Even Rockmount couldn't pull that off ;)

Two in a Row, fair play!! Even Rockmount couldn't pull that off ;)I do believe that the Bangor colours did provide some motivation for the Dale yesterday.
Ye weren't missing a set of jerseys by any chance Cliffy were ye?
