as i said we gave star a right hiding last nite but in fairness star were missing 7 or 8 players morton is so out of place in premier football:D :D :D
We know you are not Granville so stop posting that you are.
Leather might have copped you the other day when he spoke about the Pedal driven showers....
Most clubs are short players this time of year, You have to deal with as best you can. It takes time for a promoted club to find its feet.
I am sure Pat Boland will get it right down there.

Balla by far the better team, played some fine football and scored at vital times, going to be a fine league this season....

Whats gone wrong with star? i thought ye would definitely have points on the board by now, and i know ye had a lot higher expectations than this. was talking to one of the star players last night, and he said that the defence is terrible, badly in need of center backs according to him. are ye missing players or something?
Yes we had higher expectations than 0 points after 4 games but we played well enough in our first 3 games to get some points on the board.
We are missing a host of players who are gradually coming back in one's and two's, so slowly but surley.
Very funny bout the centre backs!! but in all fairness we will stay up, and should (hopefully) kick on after yesterday's result.

star need a new keeper and a new defence!!a new keeper especially, robbie carey is ****
Ger (Nolly) Collopy was working up the country up until last week and therefore couldn't train with the club so Robbie was first choice keeper as he trained and in fairness played well to date,
But now Nolly is no longer working up the country and was back on the bench yesterday and is also back training, so they will both fight it out for the No.1 Jersey, from yesterday onwards.

still though will be a blow to Boro for however long he is out for, not suggesting they are a one man team or anything but he is a very important player for them and the type of football they play

aisling dominated the first half and should have scored a third before the break, an OG from Anto Mc Donnell put regional back in the game. Aisling lost 4 players through injury. changed the game and regional dominated after that and scored a very debatable off side goal, ref appologised after the game. their third was a very well taken opportunity from frankie steward who poked home after a scramble in the box. aisling were denied a header deemed off side and a clear cut peno when the game was balanced at 2-2. far from one sided. 2-2 would have been a fair reflection of the game.
Aisling have had half their squad injured since the season kicked off, should be very strong when all come back.

heard that Regional had a clear cut peno themselves in the first half not given and few offside decisions not go their way but those kind of things happen in alot of games, but wasn't there myself so only going on what i was told by an impartial person who was there

it is good that so far this season there has been some good competiton in the premier, with the exception of balla alot of the other teams are already taking points off each other.this can be only good for the league does anyone agree?it has been harder than previous seasons to predict results.good to see the likes of granville holding there own at the top end of the table

I would agree with that There seems to be alot of teams capable of challenging for the league this year. Balla, Pike, Regional, Boro, Carew. and seems to be no certainties for the drop either with Corbally, Star, Herbertstown, Charleville and Fairview all fighting it out to avoid the drop.

pike had the better of the first half. carew came out second half and were all over pike from start to finish i would say pike were hanging on a bit second half carew should of nicked it. carew were also without monty and phil clancy derek byrnes. o connor seems to have them playing as a good unit from the last couple of games iv seen they also have an excellant work rate.
as for pike they played good football in patches more so first half they did not turn up second half not the first time pike did not come out right to start second half i just wonder what words of wisdom is conny saying at HT. pike were missing mcgarry and purcell but had just as good of players to come in IMO

Is this the same Jason O Connor who persisted in keeping 4 at the back against a 10 man Granville Rgs team who opted to keep 5 across the middle of the park and depend on breaks from midfield instead of pushing an extra man forward when their centre forward was sent off after 35 minutes? Carew hurt them in the air that night and it was crying out for an extra man up front of the likes of Mike Carey et al. The jury is still out on JOC I'm afraid.

he seems to be goin the right way about it anyway.would be more worried for conny above in pike.he seems to be making afew strange positional changes this season.
