the league is far from decided,top and bottom,i'm sure the boro would of at least expected a point,but from what i heard they were very poor,good result for star tho,advantage regional???

big win for the boro.puts them back on top.the league this year has turned into a farce yet again.boro and balla have games thurs,sunday,and tuesday.no game for pike on either of the 1st 2 nights.pike again getting an unfair advantage.boro going from having no game in a month to having 3 games in 5 days.there is no excuse for teams getting matches off when every pitch is playable and weather is great.Why was corbally and fairview off?If my memory serves me correctly regional played no game either on thursday or sunday.

if there was a complete fixture list posted at the start of the year and games were called off for no other reason that unplayable pitches or deaths in a club then this wouldnt be happening ......

expect a torrid few weeks with accusations of favours and counter favours

Therin lies the root cause of the fixtures problem...just take the boro example, no match for four weeks and then 3 in five days...no doubt there are other clubs in the same situ... just giving that as example...it is not as if the boro's pitch has been unplayable for the last 4 weeks,,,

It seems that there is always someone on here complaining about the fixture secratery. Im just wondering how does he get this position.

Does he have to be voted into it? And if so who is allowed to vote?

Id assume the clubs are the ones that vote for these positions, if so how does he continually get the position because on here it seems almost every club in limerick has a problem with him

agree with wht mitre has to say on this one.at the start of the year there was fixtures made for at least the first 8 or 9 games and the league was flying it.why didnt this continue into the new year?its been a complete shambles since christmas.

Clubs who didn't vote for him when he was going for the FS position in the past are the clubs that he screw's with fixtures every year. Maybe other clubs are afraid to vote him out because the same will happen to them.

Even if he's not corrupt he is definately incompetent therefore he must go.

Teams who play on a saturday should play the following tuesday and teams who play on a sunday should play the following wednesday...it's that simple!
Nobody should have to play 3 games in 6 days.

star scored 3 mins into injury time the ref was a total disgrace and im sure morton would even agree or striker clean through on goal just about to shoot and was hacked down from behind in the pen box ref said after the game that he was was to far away to give the pen and of coarse star went straight up the field and scored. in fairness what kind of ref would come out with a statement like that. but its or own fault we had more that enough chances to kill off star and dod not take tham AGAIN a realstic score would of been 7_2

there is still a long way to go yet.the league could really go down to the last weekend.if the council had any brains they would concentrate on getting the keague finished and out of the way before the lawson and the tuohy.This might help eliminate teams doing other teams favours and make the run in alot fairer.its hard to see anyone except pike,boro or regional winning league but with 7or8 games to go its still hard to call.getting quite interesting down the bottom also.star have picked up a big 4pts in the last week.watch out herbertstown i say anyway.they havent had much luck recently.

cant see carew deciding were any title goes were not good enough simple as that gordon missing is killing us we were without a few key players for the last two months but hopefully now we will be back to near enough or best 11 still without gordon and ming ( almost fit now) and farmer (who is a loss to us another 3 weeks without him)

I heard that also.Its sad if thats the case.Maybe frustration on whites case that hes pushing on a bit and doesnt have the pace anymore.im sure if he did go to do him that he didnt expect to be injuring himself.theres no place for that in junior soccer.Lads have to go to work the following day.Hopefully it wasnt the case and was just rumours.
