You will never believe the **** up Alan Kelly made tonight for Bohs 'fourth' goal. Ball crossed deep from the left wing, goes right over the whole Bray defence where Devlin was waiting. He swivels and hits the ball on the meat and buries the ball. Bray have three stantions behind the goal; the two at each side and one in the middle - the ball hits the net right in the centre and but the power of the shot made the ball hit the middle stansion and the ball ricoches straigh back out.
Alan Kelly give Bray a goal kick!!

Kelly just can't have a boring game, can he? - there's always one outrageously wrong decision; Devlin's face was a picture, like he'd just realised the comedy league he'd fallen into..

Bray's next game is against us which presumably means both Deans and Keogh are suspended, right?.

Yip:(Good stuff. What positions do they play? Deans is defender I think yeah? They good?
Deans used to be a good defender anyway..I didn't even know he was at Bray nowadays..:o
What I learned from tonight with Shels and Caark is that the refereeing in the Premier Divison is sh!te throughout, it's not just Kelly. Good to see nothing has changed. I think it was Hancock..
Some appalling decisions against Caark.
Oh that and that I was freeeeezing in the Riverside stand..

AFAIK, Keogh is playing left full these days. Former LTFC. Solid player.

Deans is a central defender and Pip can play anywhere on the left handside as well as in central midfield. Have'nt seen much of Deans yet as he's only played 2 competitive games. Pip Keogh is a good player who gives his best but it has'nt been going great for him this season - that will change in the cup game though  ;) . (While on the subject of the cup game I'm pretty sure that Deans will be cup-tied for that too)

No deadly serious...If the refs in this country can't spot a clear goal then why do we bother having a fecking league at all? I know it meant nothing at the time as Bohs were 3-0 up but it could have meant something a lot more important, like a place in a cup final or something like that.

Grand. I was just thrown by the rolleyes.
It is a good thing we were 3-0 up I have to say, but if we had have drawn the match or lost, we'd be told we were sore losers and only blaming the ref for a bad performance if that goal was disallowed. By the way it completely overshoadowed the stone wall penalty that this plank didn't give in the first half when Stephen Ward was taken down in the box by two Bray defenders who never went near the ball. unfortunately these though, are the kind of decisions that we see all too regularly in the eL.
The 'goal' though just takes the biscuit. It was the most incredible thing I think I have ever seen at a game of football.

Similarly about 10 years ago Derek Tracey 'scored' in Dundalk to go 1-2 up....through a hole in the sidenetting, the goal wasn't given and it ended 1-1. So again nothing has changed in refereeing..

Yeah, it was a bit surreal there at the Carlisle tonight...I had a clear view of Devlin's shot on goal, and before I had a chance to think "Uh-oh, FOUR-Nil", we'd been awarded a kick-out. Kelly had long since lost control of the game. I was too far away to comment on the aforementioned penalty claim re. Ward in the first half, but we had to put up with some dodgy decisions from Alan Kelly and his little, wee linesman as well.

Absolutely, I have to say I don't necessarily think that Alan Kelly was 'against' Bohs in any way last night - it was Bray we were playing not Shels - and by my nature and due to the microscope that the peroxide puff comes under when reffing Bohs matches I took special attention in assessing his performance, as do a lot of other Bohs supporters I know.
They guy is a fake. As I said, I've never seen a decision like it in my life and I don't think I ever will again. I mean in the whole scheme of things, it probably means fück all anyway, but still bizarre.

I feel privileged to have been present at this bizarre event. I do hope it's caught on camera for those Christmas schedule-fillers.
Stonewall goal, stonewall peno. How can the league defend Kelly? The only explanation I can think of is that they can't decide if he or Stokes is worse.

Surely you mean the most appalling decision of the night which went in Caarks favour and gave them a point from the game, Owen Heary shoved in the back just before the penalty was awarded !

I think Clive Allen "scored" a similar goal in the late 70s/early 80s in England. A free kick, keeper totally beaten, cracks off the stanchion and and flies back out. Referee just plays on.
Utterly disgraceful. Lucky Bohs won 3-0 and it doesn't make much of a difference, but obviously it's the principle.

Well let's see what punishment is handed down to Alan Kelly and his linesman who should also take alot of the blame, jesus whatever about referees missing blatant fouls before awarding a penalty to the fouling team missing a goal like that is shocking.
I wasnt at the Bray v Bohs game last night but im looking forward to seeing a replay of the 4th goal.
Id be suprised if much of a punishment is given to Kelly afterall he is his Daddy's boy !!

It could make a big difference if places come down to goals. We are in a very tight group in the tables (http://bohsnews.crispynews.com/article/show/14717) just now.

Alan Kelly gave Drogheda a heap of frees in the Drogheda Shels game last week for nothing!!
Alan Kelly is not pro anyone...
He gets his kicks out of f**king teams over and who he does it to he doesnt care..
He's a pr!ck, simple as that.
