Well let's see what punishment is handed down to Alan Kelly and his linesman who should also take alot of the blame, jesus whatever about referees missing blatant fouls before awarding a penalty to the fouling team missing a goal like that is shocking.
I wasnt at the Bray v Bohs game last night but im looking forward to seeing a replay of the 4th goal.

Id be suprised if much of a punishment is given to Kelly afterall he is his Daddy's boy !!:mad:

Sweet. Hopefully we'll have McT back from injury for that game. By the way, I think our league game is on the Saturday now aswell instead of Friday as the "experiment" thing didn't work(thank feck:o)

I wouldn't worry too much about Bray, their two halves are rubbish!

Their team can't deal with people running at them.

Harps had O'Donnell sent off. Bray had a second player (Deans?) sent off. Lot of red cards tonight.

Don't 4get Farrelly was sent off last night (from the bench) having argued with the officials that once the ball goes in the net, it's a goal.
Alan Kelly said I'm overruling the linesman + if the ball comes back out of the net it's a goal kick! :rolleyes:

GF should be out for the cup game against the scum I reckon. :D

I think Clive Allen "scored" a similar goal in the late 70s/early 80s in England. A free kick, keeper totally beaten, cracks off the stanchion and and flies back out. Referee just plays on.
Remember seeing that on Match of the 70s or Match of the 80s (think 70s). Ipswich or Chelsea were involved? "And the referee's an idiot" were the commentator's immortal words. :)

Was talking to a former league ref this evening and Kelly and the goal came up - he said Kelly was a joke, but that nothing would get done because of his dad.

Oh mother of fooking jaysus, I thought the standard of refereeing couldnt sink any lower.................... Alan Kelly take a bow !

From the looks of it on the clip Kelly didnt even consult with his linesman. If this was a properly run and administerd league Kelly would be kicked out of refereeing for quite a while .

I actually feel sorry for Gareth Farrelly :eek: (and this time it's not because he's managing Bohs :D)
