Don't think Shels A will challenge this year. They have lost most of the team from last year after Eddie Hickey left.
Shels C should challenge for 4B, have got a few players from last years A squad as well as a few new faces.

Well the new A team manager has acheived promotion this season before a ball was kicked!
Yea the pulling out of a team in division 1B caused a vacancy and as St Pats finished 3rd in 2A they were promoted to fill the spot. It kinda screwed the managers planning but the club wont complain.
There are a few other adjustments on other divisions also.

Charleville are no loss anyway. B team were worse than the A team for giving walkovers near the end of the season etc. No to mention the drive out there.
Best of luck for the season. Look forward to playing ye. Hear the keeper is dodgy as fc*k ;)

St Patricks A team
if you need to see the rest, the divisions are on the website.
There were 5 new teams and a few who pulled out. Ashling and UL have split but UL have not entered a team, St Josephs are out of soccer as are Distillery, lisnagry have no B team and the list goes on and on so best check the site for your division to see who you wil be playing

im sorry cartman but any team with robbie carey in goals will go no where in premier, he spoofs away out in the astro league every year and buys player of the years and m.v.p's off the referees every season, im nearly sure he couldnt get on corbally c team last year in goals.. so stop telling lies, star have two, three maybe four good good players thats it.

What new signings have ye made that makes you think ye will get a top 5 finish. I know ye got locky and eddie wallace from balla B and Paul Lonergan from Corbally.
Have ye made a few more signings?

Not sure star will go down lads, they seem to have got a desent squad together, but corbally seem to have a couple of problems, in the fact they have lost a few key players

Dunno about star. I watched them last night in the Patsy Collopy tournament against a poor Balla B team. They drew 1-1. Star won on penalties.
It looked as if star had their strongest team out except Pa Barry was missing. They created a few chances but couldnt score.
They will have to greatly improve to survive in the premier. Then again this was only a pre-season friendly.

Pike (Premier Champions) making excuses already before a ball is kicked.
Surely the Pike squad will be big enough to cope without 2 players.????
Then again they could always call up Noel Noonan from the "B" team??

coonagh b did the 4a double last year. they should walk 3b this year. they play super football and have the best strike partnership outside the premier. yogi and shane ryan should be playing a football but frankie glynn dont see eye to eye with them. he has his favourites in the snail pa hall when he should be doing his anne robinson impression and telling him he is the weakest link

pike will walk away with the league again this year they have the strongest squad
