He comes across as very clumsy, just pushes his way to the ball and is all over the place.Sounds like George O'Callaghan to me:confused: :p.

Forde is atrocious and as far as I can see is Derry's weakest point by a stretch...(as has been mentioned on here before )

Murphy is the best keeper in the league for some time and I am not being biased.

Forde was one of their key players last year

even Farrelly is better than Fenn, any time!

I take it you didnt see the game tonight then;) and im not even a Cork fan! so no bias here :)

the first time i saw him i thought the same but he isnt.
Find of the season, and i think if he continues as he is going he will be on his way back across the water come the end of the season....although he seems to love it in Sligo.

I actually thought Fenn was decent enough tonight- 7/10 IMO. At times his passing was slopy and he miscontroled once or twice but in general I thought he played well. Also you have to take into account the fact that there was no GO'C or Gamble so he had to drop even deeper than usual - IMO he certainly wasnt "****e"

I thought he was poor but not poor enough to mention it until Dyl10's post above

Yeah maybe ****e was too harsh but I honestly think he's gradually got worse. I was at the Cork-Nantes match at Turners X a few years ago and Fenn was brilliant then. Every time I saw him recently he isn't the same player IMO.

He was unreal in that game alright and i'd love to say he is always that good but he is not BUT he most definitely is not sh*te, he lays off some passes at times which are unreal, he is very strong in holding it up aswell and his vision is probably the best in the City team. Problem the other night was he was missing three players who are normally right beside him and who work well together.

he may have done well in the second leg, but he was very dodgy in the first leg, and almost cost an away goal with a terrible howler when he let the free kick under his body.

Theres another two to add to your list Colin ;)

Kearney when he's on top form is different class, if he could bring the performances he produced for Cork to Tolka in the latter stages of this season surely he's worth a mention?

Strange choice. Even at his best no way he best in the league.

For me it is definately Patrick McCourt. I have only seen him on eL weekly since he moved to Derry City but I seen him a few times when he was with Rovers and he really took the pi$$ out of defenders at times.
McCourt for Northern Ireland!

McCourt for Northern Ireland!

Sanchez doesn't want to know, hes more interested in Thompson of Linfield.

Any reason in particular he doesn't want to know? Do you know if Sanchez knows much about him? Is it just the one under 21 cap McCourt has?

Thompson is a quality player though, he deserves his place in the squad. He was a joy to watch in the Setanta Cup this year.

McCourt has 1 senior Cap v Spain in 2002/3.

On Barry Molloy.....I have never ever seen Baz get praise but he has faced everyones hero Joe Gamble twice and had him in his pocket. I can only confidently say the players I mention are the best at my club and anything outside that I am relativly ignorant about.

barry when he was on form at drogheda was an amazing player but his relationship with doolo wasnt great and he rarely looked his best, nice to see him back to his best. suprised that only drogs are mentioning jason gavin.
