View Full Version : Ollie who?
wat kind of reception should we give our old ollie
i think it should be like the one davey hill got
cheer him when he comes on and once the game starts abuse him
ill just follow the crowd anyway
lets try and fill the shed aswell
a full shed singing loud and proud on a friday nite would be great
god i never realised how much i missed the shed
each fan should grab a non going friend and drag them along and dont take no for an answer
bribe them with a drink
i am bringing a couple of buddies alright.
as for ollie best of luck of him but i will be disliking him as much as any oppostion player. the club and ollie owe each other nothing

How I envy you, first year I've missed opening match I'm gutted and now theres Friday night footy as well.
ollie is a different person now, he should be treated the same as any other non city player!!! I hope he has the worst game of his life nothing against the lad except he's a $hel$ player now and to me that enough the ollie we knew is no more, he'll be out to beat us don't forget that. Best of luck to him ....but at some others teams expense!!!!!

That's a good point! With 'summer soccer' and 'Friday night' games it might be easier to 'drag' along a barstooler...

Now we have a family section maybe they could also add a new seated area with barstools?
;)
I dont think Ollie deserves any abuse. Only friendly banter. That opinion may change if he hammers us on Friday night.

And a tape recording of Andy Gray and Richard Keyes playing in the background to make them feel at home?;)

lol! I think Ollie should get a bit of stick, same way as Billy Woods etc did- banter like that is part of the game. What I hope doesn't happen is that it gets really nasty or abusive.

yeah ollie probably get a cheer before the game but be treated like any other opposition player after that.
No doubt Moses will attempt some sort of half arsed campaign against ollie.
To be honest, I dont think Ollie will get much of a cheer. He will get a fair bit of stick, thats all part of football. Ollie is expecting to get some abuse.

No doubt most of the fans realise the contribution he has made over the years to the club, so I'm thinking it will not be that nasty.
Saying that, he will have to expect a little banter...
Good point about getting non-City fans along, though some nice weather might help too...
One or two friends of mine who dont normally support City have said they might come along, I think that people are attracted by the novelty of Friday night football.
Ollie "doesnt know what kind of reception" he will get and he "cant pay too much attention to what the fans think".

the usual cliches then from ollie. if i was earning 30,000 to 40,000 euros a year for kicking a ball around i wouldn't care either.
i think he will flounder at shels as he has some very obvious weaknesses in his game and unlike at ccfc he is just another fish in a big pond.

I agree. He won't be a flop but also can't see him maintaining the form he had at city.
this of course begs the question how will der coughlan fare
