Jollyroger, your optimism is scary. Esp as you probably never seen this team play. :)

Fenlons negative 4-5-1 as usual :(
I don't want any rival team in the CL Group stages as would make them too powerful. Other teams can go as far as they want in the Inter Two Bob or Uefa Cup as even the Uefa cup groups stages won't mean huge revenues.
Shels are one up- Dillon got it.
Looks like they may ride the Lithuanians rock solid.
Missed a fair few chances. 1-0 shels, 2 mins to HT.

Crowe replaces Byrne after 62mins.
It's all over, finished 1-0 to Shelbourne - Sean Dillon. :)
Vetra had a shot off the line, as did Shels. Shels had a goal ruled out for offside, and Alan Moore spurned a two 1v1 chances. In all sounds alright! :)
Good win. I don't think he'll chance it but Fenlon should go back to 4-4-2 to finish the game next week.
Danish team in 2nd round?
I presume Longford game next weekend is already postponed?

I couldnt care what formation he uses just as long as we get the win ! Id love to see an entertaining game but getting through to the next round is the bottom line.
It was supposed to be Odense in the next round but there is a bit of confusion now if they are taking part in the inter toto or the uefa
I think the Longford game was postponed a while ago

Good result. Any away victory in Europe for an Irish team is a good one. Congratulations. Hopefully some media exposure will come of this.

Better than a 1-0 deficit though!
Looking forward to the 4-6-0 Fenlon tactical brilliance next week...

Load of rubbish. I did not say you have to beat them away but if you cannot progress to round 2 will be letting the league down.
You were in the CL last season, Vetra were 30+ points worse than their CL & Uefa Cup entrants.
The CL last season ???
Whats that got to do with anything, we are in the Intertoto Cup because we deserve to be in the Intertoto Cup. We're not playing like we were two seasons ago and you cant go back to previous seasons to suit your argument!
Look at what Billy Lord posted.
Vetra have played in europe now for a good few seasons and they know whats required to win.

Should've scored more, at one point Moore rounded the keeper only to try beat another player rather then score, weird! Also a few good chances not taken, it was very hot and the pitch was terrible, one of the worst I've ever seen!!! Small crowd, I'd be surprised if it even hit 1000, we had about 100 over, good holiday though!!!

Shelsweb said 600 - Owen Cowzer said 500. Either way it will be a terrible attendance on Saturday

Cowzer??? Hahaha!!! A certain redsman went for breakfast in a hotel saying "I'm Owen Cowzer and so is my wife" :D
3 journo's over that we knew of, good lads, weren't afraid to join us in nights out...
