barry dillion is def staying with wembley talk to him on a regular basis. he couldn be happier not too sure about pa sheehan he is due to get player of the year next week so shows his value to the team so would be a loss if leaves in my opinion reckon he will stay. as for dave liston saying that wembley was of a poor standard for his ability. cant see any premier club signing him. a few of the crew park boys went up to watch the semi lawson against balla and couldn believe he was playing.
Barry Dillon is 1 one player Dave doesnt rate so i cant see him staying if Dillon does.as Dave said himself he scored more goals last season then the
pike forward line put together.pa mul was on to him weeks ago doesnt no whats happening now his gone............

See's it, you must b good mates with dave otherwise u would understand that alot of players think dave isnt that great, and talking about scoring more goals than the pike strikers, correct me if im wrong but dont pike play in a tougher league than 1a. To give dave some credit, i personally think he tries his best in every match.

i have seen dave liston and he seems like a regular goal scorer,i would say he is more consistent than jason sheehan who left wembley to play premier.

I have great time for both jason and dave, but asked which one i would prefer to have up front, i would choose jason every time, for presence alone. Now can we stop talking about the two lads and talk about transfers, and im awhere that i did most of the talking about them before someone posts back.

I think the pike 'b' have enough centre halfs....... I don't think that he would get in instead of enright & droog...Remember sniffer is back next year as a centre half... Who ever said that daly was going to pike is on something
Any other RUMOURS going around:) :)

Lou Quigley told me himself that he wont play Prem next season as he is concentrating on the GAA and cant train 2 nights a week with a Prem club, so will probably sign for a Div 1A team.
i think your location sums up where that question came from !
you probably mean a simple signing of a form !
stop and think

The following is what Ive heard in the last day or two.
Jason O'Connor & Anthony Tobin are going back to the Boro (and might be bringing a few Carew players with them, ie; Mike Carey & Johnny Carey)
Alan Barry has been approached by St.Michaels.
Balla might lose a few if there is no change in "A" team mangers position.
Paul Quinn going from Carew to Balla.
Anyone heard anything else????

How long will that relationship last?
One of the most high profile signings this summer is Anthony Cusack of Aisling who is definately signing with Pike Rvs who offered to pay him..this is fact!

Cusack would be some loss to aisling with 30 goals last season. What does this so called 'pay' consist of ? A pair of puma king and a can of club orange in the Pike Bar after the games!
Pike will be the best team in town again next season. Anthony Cusack should sign for pike if he was asked. Its a chance to improve himself with a bigger club, they won't pay him either thats complete rubbish, there are better players with them already who would leave if that was the case and pike know this.... only club that pays players seems to be the boro...

getting ahead of yourself about the comming season, UL are a very big club in terms of numbers, only the view & geraldines have as many playing members.
i can tell you that the no boro player was payed last season. boro have never denied that players have been payed in the past..probably one of the first too go down that road years ago...I suppose every player who has ever lined out for pike was doing it for his love of the hoops... best of luck to young cusack if he can get some of pike lotto money...dont know if pike have a better goal scorer than cusack... he probably scored more than the whole pike team last season..

Not sure I agree with all of what you say, aisling are a big club and a club on the up, they had a rocky start to last season but proved they are a capable side and I would not be surprised if they are in the mix for honours next season.
Cusack needs to prove himself another season, he will be staying with UL where I am sure he will score alot of goals.
There are very few clubs in limerick that have not sweetened the pot for potential signings.

There are some good things being said about ULAA these days, lets hope they put the cat amongst the pigeons next season, it would be good to see another team challenging. NO????

I would pay no attention to any denial posted by the Pike lads because it would not be factual...the chairman of Pike Mick Noonan will not sanction any payment of players..anybody who knows this man will agree 100%..however if payment means new boots, training equip, weekend away all expences paid even vouchers for stuffins this would get a green light from the Pike hierarchy..as is common in all clubs.

I suspect Corbally have more than both Fairview and Geraldines, if not more than UL even.
