Drink, it might need rain all right, but I'm in so deep I'd be gutted now if I changed and it won....always go wit first instinct.
Well done mate, you're on a purple patch this week:) Just to continue my trend of picking the wrong horse, I too'd and fro'd between Fondmart and Impek all morning and lived up to tradition ha ha!

Dam I was looking at the last race in the Racing Post,
I though My Way De Solden would just edge it over Golden Cross
and was gonna back it but didn't get it on.
Could have had the forcast too!
Probably would have fell at the first if I had backed it!!

If it's meant to be it's meant to be. I'm just having a roll. It will go back to normal soon. Don't go stupid now on Sweeney cos that is deffo only a bet as a mate kind of thing.
Edit: Bummer - guy on channel 4 who has lost in 19 straight has said he's on blue business oh nooooooooooo.

On Napolitain next with Bannow Strand e/w, if Blue Business comes in you'll be buying Rockmount with all your winnings this week!

No idea but good luck with it, those are the best fun type bets. The pot in Cheltenham is always decent.

Up a few Bob at the moment but took a friggin hammering yesterday.Had Dun Doire,Brave Inca & Native Jack(thank you Philip Rothwell) so i made good money on those but yesterday was a joke and to top it all off i told my friend to back Hairy Molly and Youre Special and didn't back them myself. The price put me off.I don't know what i was thinking.Anyhow i had 2 bets today with Wolff Creek & Oulart and i'll do Studmaster & Monkerhostein tomorrow.Bookies are defo the winners so far.On a seperate note the girlfriends sister won €5826 on a lucky 15 on Sunday.Poxy cow.

Just the one winner for me in the first race today but only down a few quid really. Looking forward to tomorrow where traditionally I spend more than I intend to and end up with nothing:D

Just checked there and he's at 8/1 now. It was a week or so ago that I last checked his price. I'm not one for ante-post though.

I dont think a place on Wolf Creek pays out.
Johnny Murtagh - you should have won that race on Golden Cross.
can someone explain how 'each way' works.
I put a fiver on Golden Cross at 6-1 and Impek at 11-4.Im sort of reggreting not going each way.My very first bet.

if i had put each way on every slip I would be up a good bit now but instead im not.
Each Way works like this:(open to correction)
If a horse is lets say 5-1 and you put €5 each way it costs you €10.
€5 goes on the horse to win the race and €5 goes on the horse to be placed(usually 1,2,3 but sometimes 4 and 5 if its an extra big field)
The odds are 1-4 of the price if you do it each way so if the horse got placed you win 1.25*€5=€6.25.This changes though depending on what place he finishes ie. second third etc.
If he wins you get €5*5(the odds) plus your place bet.

Jesus, fair play! Placepot paid 920. I got 4 out of 6 of my selections today placed, not that I did a placepot. :) Who did you have in the 4.00? That one would have knocked me out of any placepot hopes today.

my mate got a hot tip during the week about Kadoun in the 5.20 today.the guy he works with lives near Noel Meade (who deliberately held the horse back, over the past couple of months)..they were laughing when they saw the odds at the start of the week and laid nice mulla each way..In the end, he won without breaking a sweat.
Ps: he didn't give me the tip, hence why i'm scourring the net for tips for tomorrow(to win back yesterday's wages-although i had a nice win with My Way de Solzen today).

2nd in the first, 50 on Ryanair's flyer at 9's and to top it all off just threw fifty on Ruby in the last cos he's had so many falls this week. Wickid. About 400 up in the week overall, off to the local to skull most of it now.
Good work all, can't wait for Aintree which is fast becoming a better meeting horse wise.

Was on Ruby's last yesterday so 4 outta 6 to finish the week about £100 up. Delighted with that, it's the first time in a few years I've finished up on the festival. Looking forward to sharing all the views and info for Aintree:)
