I was joking but I do agree wholeheartedly with your statement. I Don't think Duffer's form has anything to do with Jose. Great to see him back to his best again :)

I couldn't wait to see Duff tonight as I knew he'd put in a good performance. The difference between his game for Ireland and Chelsea is huge.

I don't. Duff always plays like that in friendlies. :) I actually don't think he was as good last night as people are making out. Someone asked on another forum to see a few of Duff's runs last night. I was watching the match today and putting together Duff's best bits and his performance wasn't a patch on the Italy one.

Typical. After all my ranting earlier that Duff's crossing was unerringly accurate I actually thought his final ball was poor at times last night. Not a biggy though, the rest of his game was superb.

I have half a notion that he was trying to chip the Swedish keeper. ;)

Duff played well last night but it was only a friendly. Players dont get as much time on the ball in competitve games. Its something I think we have lost a bit, we dont have that competetive edge

I thought his delivery was a little below his usual standards, but as well as that I thought Doyle and Elliott weren't making runs into the spaces where he usually crosses to, along the line of the 6 yard box
