1) does Gruenwalder Strasse ground still exist?

Yeah 1860 played there til end of last season. Rovers played Bayern there in September 1966 in the European Cup Winners Cup second round. Were going through on away goals til Gerd Muller scored the winner.....

with or without Ollie Byrne, I dont want Shels to ever own evena square inch of Dalymount Park. Thats all well and good but you have sold a part of it to a property developer! You can continue to plod along watching as stand after stand become unsafe for use while you sit in your spectacular Jodi
OR
You can accept what the FAI are forcing on us and make something out of it.
Yes its true Shels do want a move from tolka as Ollie unlike your Bohs board is not about to sit in the one spot going backwards. The issue of ground sharing was brought up when we first went looking for a site but at the time you were a lot better off then you are today. Lissenhall was seen as an area where we could sell Tolka and use funds to build a decent ground so why not give it a go.
Saying Pats and Bohs own their ground is fair enough but Shels were allowed to use the money from the sale of Tolka so in effect we may as well own it.
The FAI are pushing Ground Sharing otherwise Shels would still be looking around at Lissenhall or some other site. Nothing regarding Dalymount would have happened if the FAI didnt turn up with the grant money idea. That changed things NOT Shels looking for a home!! Kind of gives it away when you hear the Rovers Pats rumour the very same week dont you think?
Last point is that you are failing to see it from Shels FANS point of view. If you look at it we are the ones losing 100% of our ground. Your parting with 50% and are up in arms. Imagine for a second you were about to leave Dalymount and go share Tolka with Shels??? If you think the grass is so much greener on the Shels side maybe you should look into selling Dalymount and Ground Sharing with a club in an area thats not yours!!
This is an FAI issue

They only did last season though and not all of the games were held there. Prior to that I think from 99 or 98 on they played at the Olympiastadium. Shame they play in the Allianz Arena. Always thought of 1860 as the sort of workers club in munich but playing in the new Arena takes that image away a little. For me it does anyway
