Its a good day for the eL when one of its teams can turn down a 400,000 offer
Here here, although Shels are only really turning down ~€200k.

Yeah Bray get 50% because of a sell-on clause if the deal goes through.

Excellent work by Bray, it has to be said. €70k up front and now looking like another €300k. If I were Slevin, I'd be looking for the cheque direct though, not through Oily.

Don't you mean Ollie?? Very poor spelling there. Anyway I think you mean Finbarr Flood, our chairman

Graet deal by Bray - if the sale goes through. If on the other hand sale falls down because of 50% clause.......
How long does Jason Byrne have left on his contract?

Don't think it was quite as much as 70k with the original sale but defo a 50% sell on clause........ very nice windfall for Bray

Pretty sure it was in around €70k straight up, with €10k more after the cap.
Like Mullet said about Byrne earlier, Weso is worth as much as it would cost Shels to replace him with a better player.
Shelbourne are a football club, not a profit making business. Their only motivation in selling a player is to improve their team.
Not strictly true, Shelbourne will obviously try and milk any big money transfer as would pretty much any other club would. They might not be trying to make profit but they are trying to reduce deficits and stay afloat as all clubs in our league are:rolleyes:
Anyone know how much that leech Devlin will get. I'm assuming he'll get his cut as he usually does

I can't believe some people here criticising Wes. If you saw him week in week out you would realise that along with O'Callaghan (oh god the pain of saying that), he is the most gifted player in our league. Maybe you'd prefer him if he was playing 2nd division Scottish football
