your sister / girlfriend would be only too happy to "pay respect" to the most recognisable professional footballer on this island.
But we're talking about George "Rat Face" O' Callaghan. Why are you talking about Wesley "Preditor" Charles:D !

Cork were quick to jump on the bandwagon last season and have a real go at Shelbourne. Now the shoe is on the other foot and Cork cant hack it at all.

Could'nt agree more, ****ies must never of heard of double standards.
Reynolds was lambasted by them for his behaviour on-field at any club he's been at,GO'C carries on in the exact same manner but yet he's an idol.By far and away the most technically gifted player in the league but theres an evil, ugly streak to his game which needs to be eradicated!!!!!!

GO'C=Reynolds=SCUM!!!!!!!!!!!

[QUOTE=tiktok]While I've admitted that I was disappointed with georgie's reaction and I'd like to see that type of "acting the ******" wiped out of the game, Crawley got himself sent off, if he hadn't been stupid enough to throw his head at Georgie, none of this would have happened would it? /QUOTE]

Remember, it was a feigned headbutt NOT an attempted one.

Only a Corkman could defend George if he played for any other club this site woulld be full of langers complaining about his disgracefull behaviour
talented or not this league would be better off without his sort

I suppose you are still trying to hunt down the fcuker who invented the wheel and batter him to death while you're at it

That's a very weak argument.
How do you know he didn't just make a balls of headbutting Georgie.
Even if you were correct, he throws his head at Georgie, Georgie drops, but the Ref is meant to know that Crawley was pretending all along?

seems to me that you can abuse any other team on this web-site except cork.

btw the reason they lost was the pitch was bad and they couldnt see each other with those new jerseys
the same excuse they used in the rsc a few weeks ago when they couldnt beat 10 man waterford.

Where to start?

I think that if you have been threatened with a ban, it's more than likely due to the language you use when insulting others rather than your opinion on them per se. In fairness, you add nothing to any debate anyway, just constant sniping, it's not like anyone would miss your particular brand of rubbish

Galway and Sligo fans recently were warned over trolling each other's forums, I guess you missed that because you only seem to visit the Waterford and Cork sections, looking for arguments.

No one blamed the pitch for Sunday's loss, no one blamed the jersey. If you bothered to back your opinion up with fact instead of making stuff up and shouting people might pay more attention to you.

That draw with Waterford was awful alright, sure it cost us the league

I suppose if he feigned a headbutt from the half way line you'd still insist he get sent off. Anyone who saw the incident knew that the sending off was pure wrong, and that it was extraordinarily bad sportsmanship for O'Callaghan to go down clutching his face when there had been NO CONTACT AT ALL.

That's an even weaker response.

I've never said it wasn't poor sportsmanship, I never said it was fair, I've been critical of Georgie over it, even on Shelsweb, but make no doubt about it, whatever Georgie did, it was Crawley who got himself sent off with his actions.

If he hadn't made his attempted/feigned/pretend/whatever headbutt, Georgie would have had to stay standing and Crawley would have stayed on the field.

Using your logic, say he had intended to headbutt (or punch for e.g.) Georgie but missed, and Georgie had stayed standing. would the ref have been wrong to send him off? It's not neccessarily the contact that counts, intent also plays a role, and despite Georgie's actions (which I condemned) I see no evidence that the ref wouldn't have sent off Crawley for the attempt at violent conduct anyway.

I've already posted my reasons on other threads, but the one I always go back to is when he feigned injury when David Crawley pretendeded to head-butt him in the televised game vs Shels. Crawley got sent off for it. Truly a scumbag for that .

I was really annoyed with his carry on in the cup final and he was lucky not to be sent off ( as was O'Donovan in the last game of the season vs Derry, although O'Donovan is generally over-physical in his play and not dirty ).

With O'Callaghan going after the ref in the final and shaking his finger at him after he was booked, I would have been delighted if the fcuker was sent off.

He is the worst apple in the good barrell of Cork City in terms of his behaviour. Technically a very good player though, what a shame he spoils that with his carry on.

and nothing about stuart byrnes attempt to half joe gamble in the setanta cup game with gamble being sent off but thats ok ,late dangerous tackles dont count.keep it up georgie boy while they talk about u they are worried

I have to say ... that whole game there were some really bad two footed tackles going in all over the place on a few City players. Its a total case of double standards, it was said at the time aswell, its just that people have continually kept it up regarding Georgie.

For gods sake, the years before that i stood in the shed with guy losing the minds over some of the stuff that Shels were up to, there was uproar. All that is water under the bridge .... barr Georgie. He is a scapegoat at this stage now.
