They gave some suggestions to which the eircom Irish Premership was the worst by far!

They suggested the eircom Irish Elite League which is kinda cool I think.

Rules of the competition are that it has to have eircom somewhere in the title ;)

Elite League sounds silly, no offense like. Sounds a bit like "Special Class".

Éire League isn't bad, but I think any attempt to go too far down the patriotic route will risks putting some people off. But then perhaps it's just me that vomits at the very sight of American-style patriotism.

Premiership is kowtowing to the premiership followers, sure, but is that such a bad thing? More we can steal the better surely?

Depends if they are looking to make Bosman signings from other clubs then they are part of the United Kingdom :D , but I do like the all ireland name although its essentially the Dublin District league at the moment with a few regional teams. Yeah but why does it need a rebranding? Whats wrong with the EL? Even the barstooler scum know what the EL is. Changing the name is a waste of time when there are more serious issues like getting convicted criminals out of clubs, uniform kick off times, proper facilities etc etc etc.
