The game of the round for many comes in Sullivan and Lambe Park as Cup holders Drogheda United face formidable Shamrock Rovers.
Kerry v Sligo and Colin Healy said it will be an "interesting" encounter as 1,200 fans get set to pack into the small Tralee venue.
Battling for survival are Cork City who make the long trip north to meet Finn Harps.
St Pat's face out of form Galway United in Richmond Park on Sunday evening.
Any predictions!
Rovers, Cork, Sligo and St.Pats to go through.

Might swap Cork for Harps, but otherwise, yes.
Fully on board for the Shamrock Rovers double this season now, on the off chance we finish second. Can never trust them, or anyone, away to Drogs though.

O dear, C Byrne states that foul by the Shamrock R player is just a yellow card, and the ref is very experienced. Have folks seen some of the decisions by this ref this season; penalty for Derry v Galway up in the Brandywell for example. Lets say that tackle was on a Shamrock's player in a game in Tallaght, I think/expect the result would be a red. Decent game.

Harps just didn't turn up tonight. Tourish and Hutchison ended up being badly missed. Two really poor goals given away early and we never recovered.
Good crowd in Finn Park despite the horrendous conditions too.

Sligo just do not fancy first division opposition in the cup these last few years. Kerry, Wexford and twice in a row by Longford

Fair play to Kerry, amazing comeback! Some absolutely dreadful penos up in Drogheda should probably see the cup land in Tallaght this year now sadly

Incredible from Kerry fair play to them!
As said above a terrible start from us and we were never getting back in the game,on a positive note Treaty lost so our season isn’t dead yet….

Cork knocked us out a couple of seasons ago when they were first division as well. Absolutely disgraceful defending for all 4 goals tonight. Our season fell apart last season after we let in 7 in Drogheda so a huge 2 games coming up next weekend.

Kerry in Tallaght for the next round, please.

Incredible from Kerry. There'll be kids there tonight that are now in for a lifteime of suffering, and occasional joy, on the back of that. Their first really great LOI moment.

I have mixed thoughts on this like Athlone a few years ago, if Kerry were playing Rovers in Tallaght there would be a desire to get it on TV and it would have the potential to be a cricket score. Which wouldn't be a good advert for the league

So 5 times in 9 years ye've had a cup run ended by FD opposition. Now that would rot you
Edit: hold the f**king phone, it's 6 times. UCD beat them last year too. Christ

It’s on tv regardless of who they play or where it’s played. Both semis are televised by Rte

What a game in Tralee. At 3 down I was hoping it wouldn't get out of hand. Sligos attitude changed completely when Kerry got the first goal. When kerry got the 3rd and 4th goals the place erupted. Huge promotion for the club in the County.
Not sure who I'd want in the semi final. My head is still spinning after that rollercoaster.

I know it's extremely unlikely, but the FAI must be praying that they don't end up with a Kerry-Galway final this year :D
Though I'd still happily go.
Harps caught napping a bit in first 10-15 min but held our own and arguably were the more attacking of the two sides for the rest definitely in the 2nd half. Cork's two early goals just killed the game off.
Must of been 2.5-3k there last night, which had thinned out significantly towards the end but not surprising given the score and weather.
Fair play to Kerry last night coming from 3-0 down to nick it in extra time, only their 3rd season in LOI and they in a cup semi final

Rovers deserved winners in louth last night.
Only for bizarre negative substitutions by Bradley we would have comfortably won that game. Got lucky with the Mandriou tackle if I'm honest it could easily have been red.
When I saw Cleary coming up to take a peno I buttoned up my coat to leave and he didn't disappoint but to win the penos after that was super enjoyable for all of us in the shed.
Will probably get pats away in the semi but hoping for Kerry at home and then hopefully a day out in landsdowne

Or indeed, what weekend the semis are on - would add an interesting dynamic, to say the least, if Rovers had to play in Tralee the Sunday after a Conference League match!

Would’ve liked Pats to draw rovers at home in the semi, would be the best opportunity to beat them with them playing in Prague 3 days earlier. Wouldn’t fancy Pats or Cork to beat them in the Aviva sadly

More than a Rover or Pats v Cork final! If Cork are relegated and they will be there wont be many that will venture out of Cork.
Like most finals, if it is marketed well, priced reasonably, Pats and Bohs had 44k coupld of years ago so you'd hope for similar unless the novelty of cups wins has won off for Pats, Rovers have 1 in 28 years or so so the cup specialists might not be that bothered.

The FAI got the draw they wanted.
Id fancy cork to give Pat's a game in Turner's Cross, but think Pat's experience might tell in the end, possibly another extra time win.
Rovers and Kerry have never met so it's hard to look beyond the league /division places and think that anything other than a Rovers win would be a major shock.
The fact that the semi final and final fall 3 days after tough away ECL games will have a bearing on team selection for Rovers, but ultimately it looks like Rovers -Pats final.
If so I'd hope for a crowd of +35k.
small chance of getting through with the home draw v pats but im probably fooling myself.

Shamrocks v Cork, now that would generate a record crowd!
A Kerry v Cork final would be interesting!
Isn't that the annual GAA football fixture for the two teams that only really challenge for the Munster football championship!

Pat's v Rovers should sell out. I wish ticketmaster would open more blocks, same scutter every year,.
