This is the original Tipp Man here and not some Saints guy with so little imagination that he cannot come up with a name of his own. Anyway, most of what he is posting here is biased nonsense with little or no grounding in reality. Most rational people on this site will see it for the rubbish it is and disregard it. I saw Saints v Town in the league this year and Town could have scored six or seven. Saints are a fine side but this rubbish emanating from West Tipperary is an insult to a proud and fine club.

St. Michaels beat Killarney Celtic 2-0 with goals from O'Halloran and Moroney. Into the semi-finals and will now be away to the winners of todays Carew Park v Carrick United game.

tipp man are you actually on drugs if the scoreline was 4_1 to carew park it would be about right yer own manager said his side were blessed to get the win and carew park were the best footballing team they played in carrick in two or three years the diff.. between the two teams was poor finishing from carew which is not like them and a excellent carrick keeper he pulled off amazings saves this guy sould get a call up for ireland junior. it does not matter now but if carew had jason o connor fit carew would of won but he wasn't . IF you were at the game you must of seen carew park hit the post twice missed a couple of handy one on ones and not forgeting the miss of the season in injury time free header two yards out keeper beaten by the cross and put it wide. so tipp man for you to post the above i dont think you were even at the game. and lads if ye think im going over the top by saying 4_1 by the star tomorrow or the leader today and read it for yer selfs.

well we have to agree to disagree i suppose. IMO carrick are a good side but not as good as people make them out to be i fancy clonmel to win it out. carew park had carrick pined in there own half all through the second half carew just could not put the ball in the net and thats what its all about so best of luck to carrick sound blokes had a few pints with them after the game and all that...

Tipp man are you a Carrick man or a town Man.and don't give me the line that you support " tipp teams" . not sure what blinkers you have on..according to Tipp FM the carrick keeper was man of the match and carrick were very lucky to win..granted with ten men its a terrific team....so then we have 4..3 of last years semi finalists..i think its proves the shift of power in Munster football is now in tipp and gone from limerick...Town saints and carrick( i know they are in waterford league but still a tipperary town) in semi's for 2nd consecutive year... any thoughts everyone....?

St Michaels got the 2nd of april as the semi final date provisionally so i would imagine it will be the 2nd or 9th......great to see a club like drinagh making the semi's..its what cup football is all about... here's to a Saints v drinagh final in Turners cross....

Twud be nice but there's the little matter of Clonmel town standing in our way, and we're well aware as to how much of a gulf in class there is between us but as you say, you gotta love cup football, anything could happen on the day. :D

Wat are clonmel towns colours? will they have much of a following going to turners cross?? Drinagh is only a small village but were a loud bunch so should be a great nite at the X. Win, Lose or Draw!

Hows it going Drinagh. Town first choice colours are mainly orange with black trim but they have been using an all black strip for most of the season. Numbers wise, we dont usually have a big travelling support so maybe between 150 - 200 people. I'd say ye will probably have more support on the night. Best of Luck:D

Michael's need to get a few players in for next season otherwise town will run away with the league next year.I was over to watch de youths this year over in cooke and i didnt see much comin through the ranks,maybe two players at the most.cashel youths are the team of the youth league this year,seen them play a few times this year and they look good!!Michaels will be a second rate team in time to come, wit players on the way out.If james walsh does leave they will most definately be on the slide.Think carrick will beat them hands down,but ud never know!!:ball: :ball: :ball:

Third final in a row for Clonmel Town. Lets just hope they finally win the bloody thing.

Carrick have played Saints twice this season. The Munster Senior Cup and in a pre-season friendly in Cahir.

Carrick won twice but in fairness the stakes are higher next Saturday.

yip carrick won 2-1 aet in senior cup and 3-1 in a friendly so on that carrick are favourites..but i wouldn't write of st michaels...they are at their most dangerous when they are underdogs... Some of what you have said is right but a few further points. Firstly, Carrick lost the game yesterday on the line. Either they did not have enough fit squad players to make changes early in the second half or else they thought that plan A would eventually work. Either way, taking off Power and leaving on McSharry beggered belief. Carrick's wingers got no ball because the Saints midfield were dominant. Therefore if Saints dominate midfield against Clonmel Town they will again ensure that the two wingers get no ball. Clonmel lack sufficient punch up front to worry Breen and Walsh. I just hope that Clonmel Town have a plan B if plan A fails because Carrick obviously didn't lat night.
