Big weekend for Derry as two wins against Bohs and Sligo will surely be enough to make them Champions, hard to see Rovers clawing 4 points back with 3 games to go and Shels look spent and go to Derry on the last day.
With the season thats in it anything is possible but i expect Derry to win both matches as the finality of them being almost cup finals should be enough to get them off their arses.
Big weekend also for Harps two wins against Bray and Wexfors will have them in the hunt for a last day miracle jump into the playoffs with both Bray and Wexford away on the last day and Haprs at home although wexford have a game against Cobh as well.
A drogs win in Waterford and a Derry win against Bohs will have Drogs within 2 points of Bohs.......squeeky bum time for Bohs.....

Win or bust for Harps...Could see any result tbh. Monday is basically a dead rubber if we don't succeed

We’re not dead with a draw but winning would leave it in our own hands, lose and it’s done…..

Kerry's season seems to be petering out aimlessly after their cup exit. Wexford won the same fixture in May, with two draws on their trips to MH Park. Wexford are looking to secure their playoff place.

Reynolds taking the **** with the line up tonight. 6 midfielders starting. No striker and I assume a left back playing right back. Haven't heard rumours of him being sacked but it wouldn't be hard to justify with line ups like that tonight

I did cheer and then choke it back if I'm being honest. The missus said what happened and when I said bohs scored she looked at me like she was thinking she might need to ring for an ambulance, or at the very least tell the bar man I've had enough

Haha! He’s a clown, but the team are good lads, we’ll probably finish the season without losing a game now, don’t really care who we do a favour for as pats/ wofuss// shels will probably shoot themselves in the foot later.
Battle at the top is comedy gold, but exciting stuff.

Whichever of the 3 teams wins this league title should of course be classed as champions, but should in no way be awarded medals or a trophy. Turn off the lights at full time of their last game

i know people were joking / serious about the rovers league win in 2020 being a # moment but to be fair that league if it had gone on longer we would just have won by more.....this yera if we win it deserves an astrix.

Possibly the stupidest thing that's ever been written on this forum, and that's saying something!!
Whoever does go on to win the league will have done it the hard way,in an ultra competitive league.
Rovers have clearly come back to the pack a bit ,and as neither shels nor derry have won the league in a generation they are rightly indulging in a bit of squeaky bum behaviour.
The benefits of winning the league mean the journey to win it will be quickly forgotten by the eventual winners.

The top 3, who are the only ones that can win it in my eyes given the large number of events that would need to take place for any of the others to win it

My mistake then, I thought you were serious.
I've never before seen a team like derry look to rely so much on trying to get penos every time the ball is in the opposition box-Then again seeing mullan missing an absolute open goal I shouldn't be that surprised.
Must be a lot of pressure on derry to beat Sligo on Monday,4 points from the 2 games wouldn't be the worst return in fairness and may see them fall over the finish line.

Harps just about still alive but a big outside chance of making the playoffs, being unable to hold on to leads look likes our downfall...
Unreal cross for Bohs goal this evening,Derry bottling it again aswell .......

We might keep our end of the bargain but can't see Bray losing in Cobh. Just win on Monday and take it to the last day anyway. Would be progress on last season anyway

Not always the case, 94/95 was a very average season being nice about it, 4 or 5 eeked out bare minimum wins in the run in was enough to get us on the coat tails going in to last day as least likely of 3 possible winners. We came out of the pack with a mini run of title form, Derry choked, Shels baulked and the most unexpected Dundalk league title is the most memorable for me cause the journey was mostly forgetable cold nights and bad crowds but then the unremarkable became unforgetable. There are definite similarities with this years ttle chase albeit the (maybe remote?) possibility of the top 6 on 50-54 points with 3 games to go would be memorable be it due to collective rubbish standards or ridiculous competitiveness. Its mad that only a point seperates Galway with a GD of 5 and Derry 17. Champions will have lost at least 7 games (Dundalk 8 I think in 94/95). Sligo could in theory win the league with -3 or -4 GD(?), Derry should finish highest GD just above +20, 2018 was +65 - keepers clangers season and all! The impact that the bottom 2 clubs could have on the title destination is an interesting quirk too (like a relegated Athlone) though Drogheda are a form side with St Pats.
Yeah normally nobody really looks beyond the final table after the dust settles but this one I think is or will be different. If, big if, Drogheda do overtake Bohs I think Bohs are more at risk in the play-off than Drogheda, obvious momentum aside, I think Drogheda can play and be a battering ram as needed.
I can only hope this mad season wont also be marked as 1903 Dundalk FC's last!:(

We’ve only decided to become interested when it’s too late to be fair. Even after SK took over it still took some time to turn things around. Oh for 3/4 extra games.
There will be 2/3 teams really kicking themselves at seasons end I think.

An entertaining draw at the Markets Field last night but it should have been all 3 points for Treaty as Yoyo Mahdy's free kick was well over the line.

All Rovers fans terribly conflicted tonight.I wasn’t in the slightest bit conflicted
I think Shamrock Rovers will win it as they should win their last 3 games against Dundalk, Drogheda and Waterford and I have no faith in Shels or Derry having the bottle or ability to win enough games to finish ahead of them going by their form over past couple of months. Shels or Derry should have wrapped up league by now but they will probably draw with each other on last day to hand title to Rovers.

And the team. Both to blame.
We were good last night TBF. On another day we'd have scored a few more. However, it's not about performances at this stage of the season, it's results, and we're not getting them.
That's us done. We won't get 10 points from the last four.
We'll have a lower points total from last season, so we're going backwards again.
We should still win the cup, which would be great for Europe next year.
We'll always be left with a 'what if?' for this year though. We'll add it to the list of 1995, 2005 & 2006.

Good evenings entertainment at the MF.As expected Ucd dominated and played neat attacking football....Treaty as they do battled away and how the officials missed Mahdys free kick which was well over the line was poor.
