The other 472,000 who were in the Cross for the Djurgardens game couldn't get flights to Prague then?

;) :D

Not that long ago either...

Ah yes - the ones who play games against the other Shamrock Rovers.

We should really push for greater coverage by the media of the Other eircom League.

The one that plays in Other Grounds on Other Evenings

Crowds were generally huge at the cross for the first couple of games in the season

He's talking about Bishopstown.
It was a project ahead of its time and failed to inspire many fans.
It would be like moving St. Pats out to Tallaght.
If the Bishopstown venture happened now, I'm sure it would be a success, given how the area has been made less isolated by continuing urban sprawl.

There should be about 400-500 in the City contingent in Prague.
There were three charters arranged and then the independent travellers
Obviously the czechs are way overstating it at 1000 on their website.

Glad to say I'll be adding to the numbers, 34 minutes left in work today!!!

1,500 to Glasgow??? Sure we brought 24,000 to Landsdowne (Shelbourne fans considered this an away game) beats the tits off anything any of you can come up with!!!

To all Carkies, this is a little gag before y'all get your knickers in a twist and start shooting your mouth off about getting 57,265 down at the X next Thursday, m'kay??? Good lad!

Shels had 960-something on the offical trips, I forget the exact figure but that was offical, it's on the Shels website somewhere I think, and a fair few made their way independently.

Not that it matters at all, I was only taking the píss anyway.

Derry brought literally thousands to Ninian Park in 1988, so petty though this thread is - I'm afraid you're all sadly wrong :D

A Cardiff fan I met at the Cramarthen v Longford game said to me that Derry had more away fans at Ninian Park for that game than any other club had ever brought there before in his 40 odd years of going to games. His words, not mine - end of story....
