I'd say 10-10,000,000 Derry fans in Galway tonight. [insert douchebag emoji]
Jese, it's nice having an idea of away fans at matches. This thread does that. It doesn't need to be anything else!

Cork City fans have been issued a further 300 tickets for their away match at Cobh on Friday. This brings the away allocation up to 600 at St. Colmans Park. The grounds capacity has been restricted to about 3,000 after advice by An Garda and all relevant parties.
City fans will be allocated the East Stand area behind the goal at the Town end while a further 300 will be accommodated in the Main South Stand again at the town end. Home fans will be allowed access to the South Stand, standing area behind the goal at the Clubhouse end and the open North terrace.

Its not as if Cobh are going toe to toe for promotion to warrant limiting away fans. Maybe the ticket distribution was to do with the licencing requirement of segregating fans, if not then it was another dose of childishness by suits in Cork. Not only the revene is lost, but limiting the numbers in a league that insterest is built on word of mouth on atmosphere etc?

This was about a thousand. Over half the east stand (2k capacity) was full. It’s ok to just ask people what the attendances were without making them up first

Yeah I'd say about 100. People were a bit spread out. Lowest crowd I've seen there. I'd say lucky if there was 100 home fans

Rovers hadnt as many as they usually bring to Oriel. Id say 350ish, Def not as many as Shels and Bohs brought to Oriel

That traffic hold up on the M50 would have probably have been a factor, would imagine loads would have missed even the 8.15 delayed KO and turned back.

Defo, I know a lot missed the pats match over the traffic too and the Derry supporters bus arrived about half an hour into the match. Up there with the maddest traffic I can remember in Dublin. My usual 25 min drive to inchicore took 1 hour 40 mins and I just about made kickoff with about 5 mins to spare. A minor inconvenience though of course compared to the tragedy that took place earlier in the day
Rough guess of about 250 Waterford fans in Tolka Park going by match highlights and talk of tickets sold before the game.

The UCD lads here probably know the numbers better than me but the games I’ve been at this season tend to be in the 250-400 range, which given it is the 1st Division and you have a lower number of away fans, is about the norm for the club.

200 - 300 Bohs fans away to Sligo. Was this the total allocation?
Looked about 20+ Drogs fans in the stand on Virgin TV at last nights game, well done to them as it must be very difficult arranging travel for Thursday night fixtures!

Is say 150-200 bray fans in ucd last night
About 25 Kerry FC fans in St. Colman's Park last night with a good display of flags!
Shamrcoks had the full allocation in Weavers Park, while Sligo had well over a 100 fans in Tolka, plenty of Sligo fans living in Dublin maybe!

You could easily do a head count on Derry away support if ye bothered to pause the LoITV coverage, one of the lower numbers of Derry support in Oriel in a long while. 150? on the terrace at a push, hard to see if there were any/many in the stand.
