Update on Knight from the local press in Bristol.
TL;DR: they like him a lot.
I can’t help but laugh at the COYBIG forum where one poster suggests that a top half championship player is the best Knight will ever be…so
Suggesting that at 22 years old he’s already hit the peak of his career…some people you just can’t argue with…
To be honest, I would agree. I think he's an excellent player and an absolute work horse, but I don't think he has what it takes to cut it in the PL.
He could make it at other top leagues in Europe, but if we're specifically talking about the PL, then I don't see it(at this current time).
You’re just as bad as that Coybig poster.
Even you’re argument makes no sense.

Ah will you grow up. It's not an argument, it's an opinion. Does my opinion need to make sense to you?
I can assure you that I'm not the only that would be of this thinking.

Sorry but if you’re going to post a stupid comment I’m going to call you out on it! You don’t even know what he lacks but still hold it against him which sums you’re argument up.
You’re saying at 22 years old he’s already hit or is close to the peak of his ability and can’t improve significantly which is exactly what you’re post implies, and if this the case then sorry but there’s is no point is even trying to discuss anything with you are the other people you mention are just as bad.
I think he can make it in the Premier League. In fact I think it's a league that would suit him more than other (arguably) more technical European leagues. Not every Premier League midfielder needs to be technically perfect on the ball. There's plenty of room for a player like Knight who will do the heavy lifting to allow the more technical types to stand out. He won't be playing for Man City or Arsenal, but he can definitely play 100+ games at that level for an Everton or a Crystal Palace. If James McCarthy, Jeff Hendrick or David Meyler could do it, then Knight absolutely can too.
I don’t know where this narrative came from that he’s a poor technical player. I mean it’s not his strength ofcourse but he’s a perfectly fine technical player and it won’t be that alone that stops him being a premier league player.

It's hardly stupid. There's been games for us that he's been non existent against a lot weaker opposition.
I tell you what, we'll come back to it if and when he's and established PL player and if he is, then we're both happy.
There's nothing to be call out on and certainly not stupid to suggest a 22yo who is unproven in the PL will have a career in said league. And its 'or', not 'are'.
