The Southern hotel is right beside the bus station and not bad.Helped Rovers out allot and i would recomend it.

Pick the Southern as they are involved in some sponsership with us and we should push business their way.Aint that right Sligoman!

Hi lads.

I am going to make the trip to Yeates Country for our Cup Semi - Final game with Sligo. Could someone reccommend a hotel near The Showgrounds ?

Cheers

Jim did you not make about 20 threads on visiting sligo and asking about hotels in Sligo last year ?

Anyways the Southern Hotel would be the best option.

They are but you actually see the Southern from The Showgrounds, its about a 5 minute walk to The Showgrounds from the Southern Hotel.

the Glasshouse is in the town centre and would be only a few mins walk..The Clarion would be about a half hour walk i'd say.

Loads of hotels in Sligo but The Glasshouse and The Southern Hotel have both been friends toward Sligo Rovers recently, so go for one of them. You could tell them why your staying there and you might get a better rate.

Paul Cook and the team uses the Southern on a daily basis so Id use there and closest to ground and still within walking distance of town

Sounds good. Do they do any football training between hanging round hotels?

R U Sure!

well maybe not everyday but whenever they need to use the gym etc.the clarion was written on the jersey sleeve last season, not sure about this season if its still on it. they also help the club out with accomodation for overnight stays for away games (cork) and pre match meals at home and away
