Interesting clash in Cobh this coming Saturday night. A win for Sligo will probably kill off Cobh's chances of promotion to the premier division. If Cobh win, they can still sneak it for second spot, with a lot of luck on the way.
Either way, one of these teams play us next year, and I think it is worth a trip down there anyway, to support the local team, like. :ball:

Both teams play crazy football. All attack. Its great to watch though.

Was there for the 1st game of the season and it finished in a draw with another Alan carey special.

Sligo are v. good and v. bad so Cobh will be hoping they can catch the bad side of Sligo.

In fairness though. I dont think Cobh are ready for the Premier division yet. Could that "stadium :( " get a premier division liscence. Its awful like.

0 - 2. :(
Looks like Cobh's chances of giving us another Munster derby fixture next season are well and truly buried after that result.
What's Sligo like in April?

Haven't been to Sligo for years. Usually bring the kids away to at least one away game against every opposition, so maybe I will be heading up north west in the spring.

It's nice today. :D

Sligo is a nice trip, enjoyed it last year. Might be a bit awkward from Cork though.

No more akward than Ballybofey or Derry, as proved by our large turnout at both venues.

To be fair, on friday from Sligo onwards the traffic was a mess.
