Gorica were obliterated by Monaco last season after somehow hammering FC Copenhagen. Freak result. Gorica are no use. Slovenia's two big clubs Olimpija and Maribor have undergone a collapse. Olimpija lost all their players midway through last season and had to play their youth team in the 2nd half. They never got a licence on their ground and finances and now cease to exist through total mismanagment. Maribor are still alive but are languishing quite lowly these days.
