Molumbys going to cause a big issue in the future

That's a beaut from Obafemi. Was just thinking Ireland have become listless, and he comes up with that. Great stuff.

Lovely turn to create it. First real bit of quality all night. Worth waiting for though!

Excellent goal. Two great touches.

Lovely strike,he has something none of other forwards have, just need to see it more….

Job done really, so I'd hope they'd loosen up and try and tack on a few more, try a few new things.

Oh dear.

This should have sewn up ages ago. Instead...

Get Hourihane far away, this is shocking…

Take Hourihane back off

pineapple stu
27/09/2022, 8:14 PM
Dreadful from Hourihane there. But they've been giving us the ball all night and we've not taken advantage as clinically

NeverFeltBetter
27/09/2022, 8:15 PM
The first goal, it was a bit fluky, just a scramble in the box and Armenia got the space they needed to get in the goal. Fair enough, it's sloppy but these things happen, we got a bit overconfident, you reset and stamp your authority. But then Hourihane does that, and Bazunu should probably save...

That is a dreadful few minutes. They just switched off.

2 attempts each on goal.

Why on earth is Hourihane even on the pitch?

Trequartista20

Their first shots of the match. One hits the post and two are goals.

Question marks over Bazunu for both goals.

Collins needs to do a bit better there, get it to the keepers left. Parrott off, didn't do enough for me tonight to justify his selection, a poor window for him.

27/09/2022, 8:16 PM
Ogbene should be on to run at them here, no?

We're so lucky Molumby got away with it earlier on too.

It's a dreadful performance. A dreadful campaign and a dreadful 3 years really. We are so brittle typical fashion a heroic performance against bigger sides but inevitably lose when it matters. But for the last few years we're losing games we would never ever have lost bar some freak.

That said we'll still scrape the win here but it doesn't gloss over anything. Delaney only one speaking sense

I had to leave the house just as Obafemi scored. Thought we?d stroll home. Absolutely F**K this.

His subs are designed for is to lose the game

I haven't been watching the whole game as was watching the 21's make a pigs eR of the peno shootout, but why was parrot even on the pitch and why is the human hairbrush hendrick even playing.
Kenny is god awful at substitutions it seems. I think he can't think clearly and clinically in any pressure situation, never has done imo

weldoninhio

Kenny looks like he?s about to cry on the sideline.

27/09/2022, 8:23 PM
Hourihane has to be one of our worst ever midfielders to feature so many times. We've completely fallen apart since he arrived.

pineapple stu
27/09/2022, 8:23 PM
We are ****ting the cacks here now

At home to Armenia...

NeverFeltBetter
27/09/2022, 8:24 PM
I mean, I get it. I said it was "Job done", because Armenia could barely hold onto the ball and hadn't had a shot on goal, it's only natural the players on the pitch would think they can go into second gear for what was left. But as soon as the opposition get one back, you have to be capable of getting your head right and going "OK, time to step it up and kill any momentum they think they might have".

I already know if it ends like this, or worse God help us, the ready made excuse will be that it was all bad luck, just one of those things that happens, what can you do, one in a million they;d score twice in a few minutes, we still finished third in the group with that result, etc, etc. But as it stands Armenia are taking four points from six off us.

And they just put another a foot wide. Jesus wept, there's overconfident and then there's braindead.

Trequartista20

Armenia going for the throat now.

A PNE squad player Browne and out of form Robinson, and League 1?s finest Hourihane. Wow, poor Kenny

NeverFeltBetter
27/09/2022, 8:25 PM
Brady advances to around half way into the Armenia half on the left flank, and no one goes into the box to accept a cross. They're running scared out there. They thought they were toying with a beaten team, but they just got bit.

paul_oshea
27/09/2022, 8:26 PM
Kenny's temperament on the sideline is not helping things. He snacks of desperation and the worried look of the altar boy caught red handed in the sacristy, then having to go home and tell his parents

pineapple stu
27/09/2022, 8:27 PM
McClean and Ogbene needed for me here. Bit of energy. Nothing against Hogan but I think it's solving the wrong problem

That's a penalty for sure under the current rules. Two times over. And now the Armenians help us out with a stupid red...

NeverFeltBetter
27/09/2022, 8:29 PM
And another! They don't even have a case it was two clear handballs!

pineapple stu
27/09/2022, 8:29 PM
Armenia will hate us

Strong reminders of the last time they played here and the keeper was sent off

NeverFeltBetter
27/09/2022, 8:31 PM
Happy for Brady of course, that's a great moment for him. But **** me if Armenia haven't shot themselves in both feet.

Ireland are now passing the ball around at the back against 9-man Armenia.

placid casual
27/09/2022, 8:35 PM
This is the epitome of papering over the cracks. Kenny won't get this team within an asses roar of qualifying for anything, ever.
The Ireland management job is the football equivalent of being a mortuary cleaner it seems.
