Given I think too. Would need to see salmon from the front and don't have the time for that!

Randolph, just for the variety. The black kits are all dull as dishwater.

The Euro 88 top whitewashes Given's black 8-0 and sails through.

Randolph v Given is more of a match - all day for votes yet. And next up, Given in the keeper's top of what was voted our worst ever away kit, against someone in a gray top who I don't actually know who it is. Help welcome there!

Two very dull shirts. Given maybe edges it, despite the weird patterning around the shoulders. (I think the other keeper is actually a young Darren Randolph, he was in the U19s around the time)

Given's is a clear winner though it says more about how bad the washed out, pinstriped one than than anything about Given's own. The mesh/net effect is... different. I honestly can't decide if I like it or not.

5-3 for Conor Sammon against Given - quiet voting on a match day, but maybe there'll be a few more votes in the evening game. It's blue Randolph up against Kelleher in the 1916 centenary jersey. Votes also taken on Given v Randolph (who that probably is alright - I hadn't figured on it being from an underage game tbh)

Kelleher over Randolph for me, the simple crest is nice.

That's a tough one. I think Randolph even though the centenary kit is nice it's maybe a little too bland.

really tough - two good efforts. but i'll go with tradition - Kells,

and given in the earlier tie.

Shay knocks out the keeper probably known as Randolph 7-1.

While blue Randolph stays up against Kelleher, purple Randolph steps up to take on Packie as we enter the second half of the draw. Who'll win?

If I was voting on emotion and nostalgia it's Bonner easily but the grey isn't actually a nice shirt at all. Purple Randolph the winner for me here somewhat to my own surprise.

PS) Stu I think you might have your Randolph shirt colours mixed up in your last post?

So - we have our first draw I think. 4-4 between blue Randolph and Kelleher, so I get casting vote. I agree that this isn't an easy one; two nice yet unspectacular (that is, 90s mad :) ) kits. I like the clean lines on the Kelleher kit, and it's nice to see a kit with different coloured top and shorts. But much and all as I don't tend to like the modern monotone kits, there's just enough in that shade of blue for me to plump for Randolph here and send him through.

Going to see if we can keep this going over the weekend so given there'll be a bit of activity with the match on Sunday. Depending on activity, I might make it just two games over the weekend, but better than nothing.

It's a mid 90s derby next - Kelly v Bonner in two of the madder kits from the first round.

5-2 for purple Randolph, and the Timofte kit is out at the first hurdle. 1994 Packie leads 3-1 in the other tie.

Another kit coming up that I think will either be liked or hated, as Alan Kelly and Shay Given meet.

I'll see how activity goes today, but I might let these two ties have an extra 24 hours.

I’m allergic to any kits that are luminous.
Luminosity ran riot in Euro 2016. Thank God we never had to wear our third kit which was grey with a luminous band across the chest.

The orange in the collar of HomeKit was luminous too but we just about got away with it.

Packie 94 is through 6-2 so. Day-glo Kelly against grey Given still open for votes as we move onto the final five ties of the first round. First up this week is Mark Travers in a number which I'm not sure if we ever actually wore, against Gerry Peyton's retro orange (which is now an away kit, it seems)

The lighting is also awful, but the FAI and NB logos appear to be yellow rather than the green of the lighting.

Hard to beat an adidas 3 strips design in any case.
