I don't know if Stewie byrne is the same class act. Would love to see him back, if only for the chant, but doesn't wreak my head.... suppose it's about time he was treated as an opposition player...

Always felt Stephen Grant played well against us but I really think Derry City's David Forde is the man at the moment.

Liam Coyle for the skill. Digger and Tony O'Dowd for the banter.

my most hated player of all time, cant wait til he croaks.

That was my original opinion of him, because it always seemed that he had a vendetta to do Rovers harm when he played - particularly when with Morley...

..but as time passes, that same notion of fear and hate of him playing against us surely shows that I, for one, should show him respect as an opponent and shows how talented he must have been..

Yeah, i remember seeing Gilzean playing for Sligo against Pats and thinking he was a dirty basdaad, then he became our dirty bastaad, which as we all know is a different thing altogether :D

Opposition player I'd most like to sign for Pats is a tough choice. O'Callaghan and Hoolahan both have buckets of skill, Hunt is a great competitor, but since we are crying out for a goalscorer at the moment I'd go for Eamonn Zayed off Bray.

Would've been Stuey, but becoming a bit immune now. I suppose it comes down to the alledged way he departed....

Apart from that, any goalscorer - doesn't really matter who cos as soon as they sign for us they can't hit a barn door anyway...
