In relation to my Shels exception to the rule comment, I was just kinda expecting a few posts saying Shels wouldn't get my support. Glad to see that is not happening. :) So do Bohs have any injury worries. And were are the Eircom League Other Fans locating? Should we all sit together??? :)

500 or more in the same way you were, ahem, chartering a plane to trondheim? :D

this is the most accessible away tie in europe in years, the gypos have no excuses for low numbers this time.

have you booked your room in Bray yet?

At least you admit some of the away ties we have had were very awkward travel wise.

Our travelling numbers in the past 5 years are something like ...
Aberdeen: 500
Kaiserslautern: 125-150
Tallinn: 120
Halmstad: 100-120
Seville: 80 [Friendly]
Borisov: 45 [2 weeks to organise visa's through London was impossible]
Trondheim: 250
Tallinn: 100
Gent: ???

I'll be supporting Shels too (unless they're playing my Faroese team HB :D ).

The Baltics & Scandanavia are usually a bit harder to get too. Main land Europe probably the easiest.

Shels could have real long distance trip this year too.

T'would be a good idea. I'll be really roooting for Bohs in this, but don't want to dillute any hardcore Boh's nuts atmosphere! All non-Bohs EL fans should go to the same section all in their respective jersies, would look class on TV! :)

Where are the Away Supporters going? If they are not in the Jodi then Section B (the section at the Phibsboro Shopping Centre end of the ground) would be not diluting hardcore Bohs action.... Anyways away fans in Connaught I will be in B of Jodi. . I'll wear me shels jersey so.

Last year, the away fans (about 20 or so I think) were just in a group together in Block C or thereabouts. I don't think there was any real segregation.

Relax. You'll be ok more or less anywhere other than G and, perhaps, F in the Jodi, although you'd probably also be welcome here if you want to join in songs about the Milltown Road etc.

I've no idea how many are expected, but I'd say the Des Kelly stand would be a good plan if there is going to be a really big crowd. Connaught St is for hoops and people who don't know any better. On the whole, Bohs matches are very well stewarded.

(My brother is a Shels fan  . I once innocently ventured pre-match into your main stand to talk to him, wearing Bohs colours. The reaction -- silent, stunned indignation on a hundred, sorry dozen, faces -- was priceless!)

Will bohs be allowed to use the terraced stand(forgot what they call it)because Cork use 'the shed' last year.

15/06/2005, 4:31 PM
Which one, the Des Kelly stand that has some seats in it or the other terrace that's never used? They'll be allowed use the Des Kelly, the one with seats and a bit of a roof, but not the one that's all terrace with no roof where they put the flags.

I want to head over with the missus and a mate and his missus. Have been to Des Kelly Stand before and find it a good spot to watch de bohes. Are the tickets on sale outside the ground?

Agree. Des Kelly gives a great view. Tickets are usually on sale from boxes on St Peter's Road (behind the Des Kelly). Bohs don't sell tickets at the turnstiles, and I don't expect that will change for this match.
Here's the official ticket info:

UEFA Intertoto Cup
Bohemians V KAA Ghent
Dalymount Park
Saturday, 18th June, 7pm

Tickets for the game will be available from all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.ie and as usual from Bohemian Football Club, during office hours and from the bars in the evenings.

Ticket prices for the game are:

Jodi Stand: €15 Adults
€8 Student/OAP’s
€5 Children

Des Kelly Stand:€12 Adults
€8 Students/OAP’s
€5 Children

Tickets for the game are going fast so buy now to avoid disappointment.

only Jodi and DK open, and there is a decent enough demand for tickets all things considered

I think it's called marketing...no-one expects the game to sell out.

I didn't twig that!
If Connaught St is closed, that means it could be a tight squeeze.

Is Farrelly likely to play a full strength team or is he more interested in continuing the good current league form?

Good luck to Bohs anyway.

EL clubs have a good recent record in the inter toto with City, Rovers and Pats all winning ties in the last 3 years and UCD only losing on away goals the year before that.

bohs 5/4
gent 7/4

bohs 5/4
gent 7/4

I was hoping bookies would underestimate the eL & Bohs would be a bit more generous...

Dispite beating them 3-1 in 1st leg last year City were 12/1 with local swedish bookies to win in Malmo.

Gent are only back in training since Thursday. They can't play their new signings because they weren't registered in time. You can get 7/4 on Bohs with Victor Chandler. I'll be taking that with both hands.
