Ah sure if we snatched the toto spot Gunther would claim as very successful season anyway.

Defeat is a s good as a draw at this stage.

Caulfield came on and caused alot of trouble in the non-football sense.

First half was dire. Hoofs that just went to O'Dowd.

Second half City had the better of the play. Greg was very good when he came on, total comminment and seemed the only city player who could find his man with a pass.

O'Dowd got bored and took to taunting the Shed, Moses had an aborted pitch invasion attempt and Morley missed a sitter.

Derek gave Colin1 a mouthful when Colin1 had the cheek to suggest that maybe Derek shoulod not punch O'Dowd in front of the ref.

Ah well there goes any lingering hope of a Euro Trip.

To be honest, I thought we played really well, after they got the penalty, of course that was 10 minutes from the end.
Maybe an "us against the world" attitude would help.
City seem to tear into the opposition for the first 5 - 10 minutes of each half, and if they do not score then, they just seem to fade away.
It must be some kind of record though, no home goals since December.............
BTW, who is the l*nger of an announcer who said "let's have a party atmosphere at the Monaghan game"
I personally feel like having a wake !!..... :(

And here was me thinking that things couldn't get much worse...but they always can can't they.. we could get stuck with Murphy forever!!!

Brilliant. I think it's great that Liam Murphy is telling his squad to play to their strengths

seriously though, this is a total disaster. what odds monaghan come down and take a point or 3 off us. Attendance of 300 for ROVERS?! And Murphy's still in charge?! This might be what gets the boards attention and forces them into a managerial change though- I mean that small a crowd against a big rival means season tickets (or whatever they are) for fota golf club will be costly.

DISGRACE!
