Stever Cotterill in my opinion.Did great things for us...Also, Willie McStay too.And Lawrie.(Thats in my lifetime I mean).Obviousley, some of the older managers may have been better.

In terms of success the fact that Willie McStay's team won three trophys in the one season would then automatically qualify him as the most successful manager in recent times if not ever :confused:
Now in terms as to who was Rovers best ever manager thats a white horse of a different colour.
I would have to go for Billy Sinclair.

You know what i mean the top the division in 1977. Its like when people talk about previous winners of the Champions league when it was actually called the european cup.
