Fitzknows - I'm under zero delusions about the state of my club, this is a thread about Bohs current predicament - the national media has been full of stuff about our mess and that's not what I'm talking about here.

Rovers is in serious state, a fact I've been aware of for a long time and we as a group of supporters are trying to change it. We've had no ground for 18 years, have been run by incompetants and are up the proverbial creek. No Rovers fan would claim otherwise.

Bohs on the other hand have their own ground, 3 bars and 500 members. Yet they are still in big debt and are as deluded about their current status as they are about their place in Irish sport.

Best of luck to Limerick, hopefully our two famous clubs, along with Dundalk, can turn things around.

Farelleys missus has not settled in Ireland, watch this space.
Great wind-up drummerboy.
For the record it is well known in certain circles she is the reason that they are back in Ireland .

And nobody wants to sack Farrelly kids.

That doesn't seem to be the general opinion on gypoweb, most seem to want rid of him. Why you thought an average footballer 30 years old with no management experience ever would be a good choice to take over Bohs is beyond me anyway.

Erm... what was Pat Fenlon when he took over at Shels other than a thirty-something y/o average footballer with no managerial experience? Or Keely at Rovers?

While in recent years Cork have appointed both Dave Barry and Liam Murphy, Pat's have appointed Dolan, Derry have appointed Mahon and Healy - none have had previous managerial experience in management.

Sometimes it works out, sometimes not. Only time will tell with Farrelly. I have to say his body language and his apparent casual approach to the job does bother me. Bohs should have done what Shels did with Fenlon; give him a season-long contract to prove he is up to the job. :(

Well that's what I meant, you gave gim a 3 year contract and thought he'd turn things around, base on no evidence at all, it made no sense with with financial decisions like that that's why you're in the position you're in.
