For those of you who are superstitious, look away now.......... :D
.......for the rest of ye, it is interesting to note that our longest unbeaten League run is 24 games - 1/4/90 to 13/1/91 (ref. City Edition). If we continue our current form it means we will equal that run ....... AWAY TO $HEL$ on the 20th May (unless we are in the Setanta Cup Final - planned for that w/end also.
We will therefore beat the record the following week at home to Derry ;) thus scuppering both of their league ambitions in addition.
Our unbeaten record for a season was was 20 games (from 1/4/90 to 17/4/90). To beat that this season means we would equal it at HOME TO WATERFORD on Aug 5th and beat it HOME TO $HEL$ on Aug 12th.
Now aren't they some fixtures to look forward to. ;)
