Are you invoking Godwin's Law (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin's_law) to try and end this thread...?
http://foot.ie/showpost.php?p=344279&postcount=74
:D
No, I'd never even heard of that law until you posted that. I was making a genuine (to my mind) connection between Pablo's joy at having a legitimate claim to an Irish passport because he was born here, his obvious disagreement with the likes of Clinton Morrisson, Kevin Kilbane, Matt Holland, etc also having a legitimate claim to an Irish passport, and the opinions of right wing groups around the world that only the people born in a country should be allowed to live and work there, and claim nationality there.
Seriously MODS - END THIS THREAD, I'm embarrassed to be associated with it at this stage.

"poofy pablo"
good man.
i'm upsetting people with my opinions i see. i shall retire from this forum
I'm not a man, but I still would thump you. Geysir is right he should be ignored and I usually do ignore knobs like him, I am just very surprised that the mods let him get away with it. This is a good thread with a poll and he is destroying it and breaking the FORUM RULES!!!!!!

has anyone actually approached the FAI about the entrance theme and all the PA crap?
its about time it was cut - doesnt bring anything to the game and maybe even mutes the atmosphere!.
Yes - I did and all music played is done so with the players opinions to the fore. If thats what keeps them happy, its ok with me.

It should be the fans choice, the idea is to get the crowd going.
Instrumental or an instrumental intro to a song.
If you have any vinyl records around someplace, what about "Fanfare for the common man" by ELP. At least the name is spot on.

The Laurel and Hardy theme tune
If this goes pear shaped i can see the headlines on the ted-tops:
"Stan, that's another fine mess you got me into......!"

Headline in today's Telegraph was "Stan must earn his Laurels" which I thought was funny.

I agree. To congratulate him on his new job he should be presented with a Laurel... and Hardy handshake.

Oh, before I forget, I'd just like to be the first person to say:
Stan and Bob? I'd have been happier with Vic and Bob (http://www.vicandbob.net/)! :p

Has to be Monty Pythons "Always look on the bright side of life" :D
"Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...
And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...
do do..do do..do do..do do..."
