Just that he has a big game tonight, best of luck to him in it.
On Tuesday, the Tangerines face Arsenal in the first leg of their FA Youth Cup semi-final, attempting to become the first third-tier side for 30 years to reach the final.
They have won five away games to reach the last four, and beaten three clubs with category one academies - the highest status.
Recruitment is tough for a category three academy club on the Fylde coast. Within 50 miles of Blackpool, there are five category one academy clubs, and three teams who reached the knockout stage of this season's Champions League.
Of the 18 players on duty for the quarter-final victory at Blackburn, three are from Liverpool and another three from Preston. All but four come from less than 60 miles away.
Blackpool tend to target the bigger clubs' cast-offs.
Through careful planning, they put together a squad that won both the EFL North-West Youth Alliance League and Lancashire FA Youth Cup last season.
Their star man - Republic of Ireland Under-17 international Rowan Roache - was recruited as a 14-year-old after he left the Manchester United academy.

Spain keeping an eye on proceedings just in case according to this. Doolin needs to get on an plane more often you could argue, not exactly a hardship to go see one of ours play at a big European side. Its called Ryanair, very doable.
But while Nolan has dazzled in Italy, his club achievements have not guaranteed international caps.
The Republic of Ireland under-19’s recently missed out on a place in the European Championship’s after a 4-0 qualifying defeat against Portugal.
Surprisingly, Ryan Nolan wasn’t part of Paul Doolan’s 20-man-squad for the qualifiers.
"It's probably because they [The FAI] can’t get over to watch me as often," explains Nolan.
Nolan last featured for Ireland at underage level, as the under-18’s took on Germany and Holland in 2016.
He said: “I wish they could give me a few more chances – if I keep doing well it will happen eventually I think.”
And while it appears that the Nolan has been snubbed on this occasion, Mirror Sport understands that the Spanish FA are considering approaching the eligible youngster about an underage call-up.
But Nolan is adamant that he will one day play for the Boy’s in Green.
He said: “My first aim is to one hundred percent play for Ireland.
“I am Irish. I feel one hundred percent Irish. If Ireland never call me, and Spain come calling, then I’d think about it, but at the end of the day, I’m Irish.
“My main aim is to play for Ireland – if I played for any other country then I wouldn’t feel it as much – I just wouldn’t feel that pride or honour.”
“It’s obviously hard, but I think if I keep progressing the way I am, then hopefully I can play for the senior team one day.”

Ive been critical of Paul doolin in the past but he hasn't been 19 s manager for about 2 years so can't blame him here!

Well, it's official, our most exciting striking prospect is now Aaron Drinan (for this month at least) - bagged himself a hat-trick, putting himself into double figures after only three months at Ipswich. Unfortunately for him, Hull U23s scored four: https://twitter.com/Official_ITFC/status/983341746741530624
Meanwhile, Daniel Mandroiu, who seemed to have been out of Brighton's U23 side for a while, was credited with an assist as they hammered West Brom 5-1. Robbie McCourt scored West brom's goal: https://www.premierleague.com/match/24151/premier-league-2/2017-18/brighton-v-west-brom
Corey O'Keeffe scored Birmingham's second in a 2-0 victory over Cardiff U23s: https://www.bcfc.com/news/articles/2018/report-cardiff-city-under-23s-0-blues-under-23s-2/

I assume he returned to Everton when his loan at Dundalk finished at the end of 2017. Is he not in the reckoning back at Everton or do you think he's out in trials for another loan or a permanent departure?

Does show up in their player listings on their own site but not on Wikipedia - did he make much of an impression at Dundalk?

I don't like to be the cause of unfounded frenzied conjecture but there's a Mortimer on the bench for Barcelona who surely is eligible !

Sign of the times - 17-year-old Irish striker scores for the U23s at a Premier League Club and it almost becomes an afterthought because an 18-year-old Irish striker scored a hat-trick for the U23s of another Premier League club on the same night. Anyway, Ryan Cassidy back on the scoresheet for Watford U23s: https://www.watfordfc.com/teams/under-23s/u23-reaction-it-was-crazy-game
Meanwhile Shane McLoughlin got one of the goals from the spot for Ipswich U23s in a 3-2 victory over Bolton - a saved Aaron Drinan shot led to the winner: https://www.itfc.co.uk/news/2018/april/u23s-beat-bolton/
Two assists for Irish players in 2-2 draw between Palace and Birmingham - one for Kian Flanagan and one for Corey O'Keeffe: https://www.cpfc.co.uk/news/2018/april/u23s-report-crystal-palace-2-2-birmingham-city/

Still only 19 and just finished his first full season at U23 level so I wouldn't worry too much about it - he's still well on track. That said, he should be looking to get first-team football next year, perhaps on loan.

Looks like Shane McLoughlin could have a bright future at Ipswich. I had wondered why his goal to game ratio was down as I assumed he was still playing up front. Looks like he's playing in midfield mostly.
