What is more embarrassing is that because Barry had a holiday their will be nothing on Local Aul football in Echo this week.

Would Cork Aul be interested in getting another person involved who can also have his write ups on the Echo i See MSL have 3 if not more reporting on games.

So selfish out of Barry . Could he not go on holiday in June/July when the season is over??? ;)

They normally put them up before November so you only have another 3 weeks to wait...

Are we the only football association that dont provide weekly updated Tables.

Looks like it. In all fairness it shouldn’t be that much of a deal to publish the tables weekly, forth nightly would even do.

Rumours are correct money the key issue no support from the main sponsor's and players not paying script and so om. also not having their own pitch for many years since Monard was closed sad times because club had 5/6 promotions the last 7/8 games...

Thought they were sponsored by a bar? There’s a few decent players there. A few clubs might be looking at them.

Sad to see, they have been fantastic in recent years. Huge credit to manager Lenny for the success they've had.

Heard that Lenny walked because fellas not showing up to training . Money never mentioned (not saying it wasn't an issue)

It would be a shame if Crescent folded due to money issues.
surely a fundraiser could have been run.
i`d more believe it was numbers at training.
you would think a switch to 1 night a week training might have been
worth trying to maybe have a poor season and then try to rebuild.
The fact is though nobody knows the extent unless they were part of the squad/ management team.
I`m pretty sure Lenny wouldn`t have made the decision lightly.

Very sad to see crescent go , a real pity for Lenny who put in serious hours of time & commitment in to that club !!
a good football man who won’t be out of the game for long I’m sure

I know one or two that played with them. It was down to numbers and they did try train one night a week. Wonder would the Oscar Trainor team tempt him back (if there is one)?

Lads, just looking for advice. We're trying to sign a player. We've went to correct way about it, contacted club & they said they'd have the secretary there to sign it at their training session last night. We went out, they weren't helpful & nobody signed the form. Now all officiers of the club are busy for the next few weeks and can't sign the form. Anyone had this before. Where do we go next? Is it straight to the AUL?

greengrass

As far as i know the rule is the club have 7 days after first contact to sign a transfer form. Then you can approach the AUL and its granted wether or which.

Cheers greengrass. Just think it's strange that a club holds off signing a form when the player wants to leave. We had a club come to our first game of the season & we signed the form there and then. Suppose all clubs act differently. It's football at the end of the day & the lad just wants to play at a higher level. I'll try the secretary again and see if we can sort it. Cheers for the advice.

Great result for Grattan United, Knocknaheeny Celtic very unlucky. i fully believe if the game was in knocknaheeny instead of on astro they would have progressed.

if Knocknaheeny are the great side people are claiming them to be then the surface they played on shouldn't matter . They just weren't good enough and fell short. They wouldn't have the same experience as Grattan
