I remember when we played Drogs on 31st March there was a whole thread lifted off the site and printed in their program. One of my posts was in there too. I think it was about the whole David Jeffrey-Felix Healy row.

Very interesting as Drogs Digest did that for their game against Cork City too. I thought was once off but seems even more amateur now. How you feel 2.50 to read your own words?

Well looks like foot.ie has disappeared from the papers in the same way the EL has recently disappeared from the Irish Times. Witness the 6 lines that Bray V Drogheda got in last Monday's Sports Supplement

From today's Mirror Pg11
On www.foot.ie fans have even suggested boycotting games until the mess is sorted out. But fans are also wary that actions my be taking to prevent them from holding a protest.one fan on the forum commented "any plans, however, are hard to discuss here given the fact that the Fai are reading this board and will now be instructing the stewards to check for and remove any staunton out banners........................................."

.

Foot.ie is often mentioned in the Galway United match programme.
Does this count as the national media? :)

Don't know if there was a seperate thread in the Ireland Forum but there was references to foot.ie on the  Rick O'Shea show on 2fm.
I was stuck in traffic on the way to the game, switching between Jn Kenny and 2fm and the muppet starts on about the website. Only heard a bit about it but they couldn't seem to understand why anyone wasn't defending the website half an hour before an international?

Defending the website from what?

I heard it too, he was going through the papers and the mirror had reported on the thread to have a silent protest at the game. He asked people who were on their way to the game to ring in and give their point of view, and for anyone who was involved in organising this silent protest to ring in and explain why they were doing this.
Blew it all out of proportion, he made it sound like there was a mass protest organised by the board.

Downloading now. Unfortunately I need to download the whole show and clip it, it'll be a couple days before I get that done as I have to go to Cork tomorrow.

To see it in the meantime (before 6pm tomorrow), click here (http://www.rte.ie/news/6news/), then on Watch The Show on the right-hand side, then scroll down to Football: Ireland continue Euro 2008 campaign and click on the clip marked Tony O'Donoghue, Sports Editor, reports on Ireland's Euro 2008 qualifier against San Marino.

Everyone in the clip flew the flag for foot.ie, fair play ...... probably the only bit of positivity that was on show that night. Good stuff to all involved.

An article on 90% of foot.ie fans wanting Delaney out. Quoted Peader giving off about Delaney. Can't remember exact details, reading it briefly in the barbers!

It was great seeing the flag on the RTE clip, unfort there was no great place to put it in stadium(where none of the skangers would have nicked it)

Misread that as "The attendances thread here forms the basis for the current Aertel league table."

It explained the estimated points totals though.
