Patterson has a medial ligiment injury.

Is that a season ender?

Medial ligament, depending obviously on how bad it is, shouldn't be a season ender. Normally around two to three months.

Roll on Friday in Tallafornia, as both sides lost their opening encounter i and going to revise my crowd estimate down to 5000. Disappointed on Friday night but on reflection a lots to be positive from our end considering it is basically a completely different team. Impressive stuff again from Dundalk considering their efforts last season, the loss of key players and some infighting over money in the close season, still the team to beat and still the benchmark of how football should be played.

What was the "infighting over money"?

Who was fighting with whom?

Any scars or lasting damage?

Care to elaborate on the infighting

I presume Kingswood was referring to contract negotiations with a number of players.

There were quite a few that took time to conclude. Not that I would use the term infighting though.

We've had our own share of infighting hence the clear out.
Kinda normal at times for every team.Rumour was that several players were unhappy with Rogers deal considering his form. True ? Not true ?

Your guess is as good as ours as these days such 'issues' are not known for sure with someone on FB posting up info before the club even seems to know. Some might call it a lack of communication from the board, i'd call it beyond the sort of informtion that is necessary to be given to the more precious fan type. I'd also take what former players might say when moving on, Finn, it is likely, would be the more professional manner not to go sniping about his former club, he certainly didnt do any whinging about Rovers when he moved to Oriel. Meenan and O'Connor could very well have an axe each to grind.

The pie was a lot bigger this season hence the projected negotiations, maybe infighting was a little strong.

The pie obviously wasn't big enough for Ronan Finn though.

Tbf to Finn he has had nothing but positive stuff to say about dundalk since he signed despite a lot of abuse (and yes I know we know how to give it out as well) : ) I'm still optimistic but as a pal of mine said to me the other night " your like a Liverpool fan in August" damning words indeed.

Well he had his 2 most successful seasons as a footballer with Dundalk, he is hardly gonna start abusing the club!

Mennan sulked when he lost his place!

O'Connor thinks he is better than he is, and was walking around Dundalk this past 3 weeks saying he was going to come back to haunt Dundalk. Hasnt been seen out and about all weekend since the game!

Just looked at the Bohs Derry game there on the RTE player, Bohs were actually not that bad and they will be well up for it on Friday anyone who thinks it will be a cakewalk for Rovers needs to have a cold shower and kop on this is going to be a dogfight.

Really? Poor decision making for our first, hilarious backpass for the second, defense asleep for the third, sloppy passing/receiving for the fourth. Granted, Bohs looked ok in parts, but they can't make mistakes like that and expect not to lose.
I think Keith Ward got it spot on, Bohs were most vulnerable when they had the ball.
