Rovers lost 1-0 to FC Dallas, an MLS side, in La Manga yesterday. We were supposed to have another game today agaisnt a local side in Alacante but it was called off because the pitch was unplayable.
Playing Limerick this weekend, then it's full steam ahead for the gypos game. Bring it on!

Rovers official website listing the match as being against the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL was too funny. They even found a soccer-looking 'Boys shirt to use in the picture. Amazing.

UCD 1-0 Dundalk. A penalty - no idea who (can't find anyone who was at the match - apparently there was some rugby game on or something!). Four wins from four for us.

Drogs 1 Leeds 1
The Drogs held Leeds to a 1-1 draw at sunny United Park this morning when an Alan Reilly second half penalty brought the Drogs into the match after Leeds had taken a first half lead. Facing what appeared to be a stong Leeds side with Gary as Captain, the drogs lined out with Tony O'Dowd in Goal, Lynch and Jermaine at full with Grayser and Derek Tyrell in the centre. Sami, Shane R.Stephen Bradley and Alan Reilly were in midfield and Fabio and Tony Bird were up front. Both teams started well and the Drogs defence, particularly Grayser and Derek T took anything Leeds could throw at them and the midfield really started to work well and Tony Bird was unlucky from a great Robinson cross. But slackness in defence allowed Joachim through to beat O'Dowd at the half hour. The Second half saw the introduction of Mark Leech to partner Fabio in attack, with Graham G & Malcolm replacing Tyrell and Grayser and dan C back in goal. We appeared a different team in the second half, and showed the moves and tenacity most of us were expecting on Friday night. Lynch hit a blistering shot just wide, Fabio turned to be tackled awkwardly in thre box - penalty - Alan Reilly smashed it to the net. Then we had a great Robinson shot just wide. Alan Reilly inches over - and we were playing good football with Steven Bradley looking very good. And even in defence Dan Connor pulled off great saves and looked the part.
