SOme of the GAWA ones are shocking.
The Richie Sadlier one is kinda great.

Honestly, I'm one of the cranky sods who thinks that writing ANYTHING on a flag is heresy of the worst kind. Some are funny (some are very funny) but, in the same way that I wouldn't be cracking jokes in the middle of a funeral service, I wouldn't be emblazoning them on the national flag either. People do, and best of luck to them, but it makes me cringe.

And don't get me started on selling the jersey with a sponsor on the front. :p

The Richie Sadlier one made me laugh, but the FAI should confiscate the tickets of whoever made this.

I've noticed a lot of them have the Euro 2016 logo. Is there a reason for having it on the flag?

Hate those flags too, but couldn't help have a laugh at this one -

Lots of Irish fans have suffered at the hands of the Bordeaux tram system on Saturday with hundreds arriving late, some very late.

Has anyone scoped out transport for tomorrow in Lille, in context of being able to watch the Group F games beforehand? Is there anywhere near the stadium?

It sounded (and looked) like Irish fans were vastly outnumbered in the ground in Bordeaux (on tv pictures I mean). Was that case, or were there fans late arriving into the ground?

It was about half and half.

Not usually a huge fan, but this was pretty funny from the Republic of Telly last night.
