Ya talk was this morning that Dennehy was in Limerick everything agreed just needed to be signed. Talk now is its not happening so would love to know what went on there. Would have been a great signing.

Still could happen I'd imagine. Only thing probably stopping it is some other club hijacking it with a much higher offer.

Hopefully it does cos with him Kelly and 3 or 4 more there would be the tiniest little bit of hope around going into Saturday.

Maybe I'm making something out of nothing but is there a reason the new signings are being unveiled in McGettigans? Wonder have McGettigans group something to do with the signings?

Not sure if they do but Limerick have been doing all their business in the Limerick City Hotel for the last year and that's where McGettigans is. They must have some bit of sponsorship cause as you say why have the advertising behind the player.

Is Kanyuka on an 18 month contract too?

Add Lee J to that and it is a completely different team than the one in the 1st half.

Hall Tracey Williams Kanyuka Kelly Turner Duggan Lynch Prince Guedje Clarke
No more excuses from Russell that team is good enough to win plenty of games in this league

Agreed. Good enough to win enough in a third of a season to stay up though is a big ask.

Such a weird time to be adding people to the Squad. Could have done with all this a few weeks ago. Russell giving the usual spiel for Sligo game.

Two of those players will be making their debut tomorrow, if selected, so they could be decent or not, and the goalie only playing his third game, so saying that side should win plenty of games is a bit over the top.

Well Tracy, Williams, Kelly, Duggan, Lynch and Prince are definitely up to standard to win games in the league. Turner's a bit of a wild card and Hall, Kanyuka and Guedje are unknown quantities. Only Clarke seems outright weak from that team, and I reckon he still has potential, just needs the chance to unlock it. A goal last night and some more confidence won't hurt that at all.

Would you really consider Clarke weak? He is lacking goals and I think a lot of that is down to confidence. Other than that I think he is an excellent player. Hard working, very speedy and quick feet.

I suppose without an end product it's hard to gauge, and it is tough to be a striker in an unsuccessful team. The last two games are a fairer appraisal given the team's success, and he's left his mark.

Apart from fluffing his lines after Russell put him behind the defence, I thought Clarke was great again tonight -tore the full back apart all through the first half, and then tore the replacement apart, eventually getting taken down for the penalty.
