Kinda though it was weird that George wasn't anywhere to be seen at the game Friday night. Seeing as nearly every player came into The Horseshoe afterwards. Was talking to a reliable source that day and they said he was sick. Then heard from a player in The Horseshoe after the game that George had gone to England.

There is another thread for the wild rumours ... can a MOD move it there please.

That's what I like about this forum more than all others on foot.ie, the amount of rumours and speculation.."I heard George had an affair with an alien..is this true?!"..btw i'm not havin a go at anyone really, I just am genuinely amused at times at the rumours that appear out of nowhere on here

I heard that one too, from a VERY RELIABLE SOURCE.
Also he may be playing in the cuban league next year as Fidel Castro has offered him sanctuary from prosecution due to his inspiring anti-capitalist insurgence. I'm not saying it's true but you know, sources an' all.

Maybe he was sick-or perhaps he wasnt in a drinking mood. Its his business and nobody elses

The commentators on RTE seemed to think he was there, as did Billy Barry on 103...

Gadai have alerted other branches of the popualr toy shop to be extra vigilant in the aftermath of these disturbing events. A BRATZ doll and Spiderman PS2 game were later found in the back of an abandoned BMW Z3 on the Naas Road. Gardai would like to hear from anyone who believes they may have information regarding the incident.

Exactly-Georgie wasnt obliged to be at the game and any way suppose if City had won the league he'd probably be glum when all around him are celebrating- it would be like Roy Keane when Man Ure won the champs league.

What matters is George put down a good season for City(despite a few minor glitches of course)

Even if Georgie wasn't suspended, he wouldn't have been able to play, as he was crocked with a stomach bug. I'm sorry to disappoint all of the fantasists here, but Smyths toys is safe :D

Theres nothing wrong with it I wasnt the one who drew up gambling at all-I was merely responding to one rumour with another one I heard which you'll find I didnt hype up

Georgie wasn't there last night either. He's on holidays.

So there's on need for anymore conspiracy theories! :)
